Bedtime for Democracy is the fourth and final studio album by American punk rock band Dead Kennedys. Released in 1986, songs on this album cover common punk subjects often found in punk rock lyrics of the era such as conformity, Reaganomics, the U.S. military, and critique of the hardcore punk movement. The album's title refers to the 1951 comedy film, Bedtime for Bonzo starring Ronald Reagan and also reflects the band's weary bitterness from the trial they were undergoing at the time over the controversial art included with their previous album. By the time recording of Bedtime for Democracy had begun, the Dead Kennedys had already played what would be their last concert with Jello Biafra and announced their breakup immediately after the release of the record, whose opening track is a cover of David Allan Coe's "Take This Job and Shove It."

Darth Maul, later known simply as Maul, is a character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace as a powerful Sith Lord and Darth Sidious' first apprentice. Though seemingly killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi at the end of the film, Darth Maul returned in the 2008 animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Star Wars creator George Lucas had intended for the resurrected Maul to serve as the main antagonist of the sequel film trilogy, but these plans were abandoned when Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012. The character nonetheless reappeared in the 2014 animated series Star Wars Rebels and the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story, voiced again by Witwer; Park physically reprised the role in Solo. Since his initial defeat in The Phantom Menace, Maul has become an independent criminal mastermind and endured as Obi-Wan's archenemy.

It was self-released on July 30, 2013, marking the group's first project since leaving Psychopathic Records in December 2012. First released on the group's official website store, it was released nationwide on September 3, 2013, and re-released on November 20, 2018, via Majik Ninja Entertainment. Recording sessions took place at "The Disc". Production was handled by Michael "Seven" Summers, Eric Davie, and the Dead Beatz. In regards to Twiztid's prior albums, A New Nightmare featured the most guest appearances overall, such as AJAX, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Bukshot, Caskey, Danny Boone of Rehab, DJ Swamp, Dominic, Irv Da Phenom, Jared Gomes of (həd) p.e., JellyRoll, Johnny Richter, Lil Wyte, Liquid Assassin, Mickey Avalon, Swollen Members, The R.O.C., Wrekonize of ¡Mayday!, Aqualeo, and Anybody Killa.

Haft was a wrestler, wrestling and boxing promoter and wrestling trainer who was a prominent promoter in the United States from the late 1910s until the 1960s, running his operations primarily from Columbus, Ohio. He founded the Midwest Wrestling Alliance and was one of the founding members of the National Wrestling Alliance in 1948.
