Begum Khaleda Zia is a Bangladeshi politician who served as the prime minister of Bangladesh from March 1991 to March 1996,and again from June 2001 to October 2006. She was the first female prime minister of Bangladesh and second female prime minister in the Muslim world,after Benazir Bhutto. She is the widow of former president of Bangladesh Ziaur Rahman. In 2018,he was sentenced to life imprisonment for organising the 2004 Dhaka grenade attack.
Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim is a Bangladeshi politician who is a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Gopalganj-2 constituency since 1991. He is a member of the standing committee of Bangladesh Awami League party. He also served as the minister of Health and Family Welfare during 1999–2001.

Aligned with the Bangladesh Awami League,he was elected as the second mayor of the Gazipur City Corporation in July 2018. He is the managing director of Honourable Textile Composite Ltd and Z Alam Apparels. He was the general secretary of Gazipur metropolitan Awami League until he was expelled by Awami League central working committee on 19 November 2021. Jahangir was pardoned and got back his Awami League Membership on 1 January 2023. The LGRD Ministry suspended Alam on 25 November 2021 from the mayor post of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) on the allegations of illegal land grabbing,not compensating people after taking over land for development and working against the public interest.
Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi politician and the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Faridpur-4 constituency.
Harunur Rashid is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member from the Chapai Nawabganj-3 constituency since January 2019.
