Fractures In the Facade of Your Porcelain Beauty is Atreyu's second EP. It was originally released on November 20, 2001, and released again on January 29, 2002, under the independent label Tribunal Records. The EP has early versions of the songs "Living Each Day Like You're Already Dead", "Someone's Standing on My Chest" and "Tulips are Better", which were re-worked and included on the band's next release, Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses. The EP was released before the band's huge success following their first album and original pressings are increasingly hard to find. The vocalist, Alex Varkatzas, has a deeper approach to his screams on this album compared to Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses. The album is the first Atreyu release with Travis Miguel on rhythm guitar, as opposed to the Visions EP which only had the founding guitarist, Dan Jacobs.

The single debuted at number six in the UK charts and quickly rose to number five. The single's B-sides are re-recordings of "Prowler" and "Charlotte the Harlot" which appear as tracks number one and seven/eight respectively on the band's debut album Iron Maiden.

Interlude is an EP by the German power metal band Iron Savior, composed of five live tracks, four new songs, and one cover. The live tracks were recorded at the 1998 Wacken Open Air festival during the tour promoting their first album, Iron Savior. The new songs return to the ongoing science fiction story that began on the debut album and continued on the band's second album Unification. "Desert Plains" is a cover of Judas Priest's song from the album Point of Entry. It is the first release to feature drummer Thomas Nack.
Eve of the War is a six-track extended play from the Australian progressive metal band, Alchemist. The EP was released by Shock Records through its subsidiary label Thrust in November 1998. The title track, "Eve of the War" is a cover version of the opening piece from the British 1978 album, Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. The EP has two live songs: "Yoni Kunda" first released on Lunasphere, and "Chinese Whispers" from Spiritech. The other tracks are a remix of "Yoni Kunda", and two re-mastered tracks from Jar of Kingdom. A music video of the title track was provided.
The Undiscovered Numbers & Colors is the debut extended play (EP) by American alternative metal band Foreign Objects. Recorded at Trix Trax Recording Studios in Malvern, Pennsylvania, it was released by Distant Recordings on October 1, 1995. The EP was the first release by band members Deron Miller and Jess Margera, who would later go on to form CKY. It was later remixed and remastered for the 2004 collection Universal Culture Shock/Undiscovered Numbers & Colors.
Dressed Up & In Line is a B-sides and rarities album by the band Copeland. It was released on November 20, 2007. The album consists of B-sides, rarities, acoustic recordings, and remixes. Aaron Marsh, lead vocalist and lyricist of the band, said, "Nearly all of [the songs] have been spruced up and re-mixed."
Broken Crown Halo is the seventh studio album by Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil. It was released through Century Media Records on March 31, 2014 in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and on April 1 in North America. This is the last album to feature drummer Cristiano "Criz" Mozzati and guitarists Marco "Maus" Biazzi and Cristiano "Pizza" Migliore, who retired from the band on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2014, marking the end of the band's longest-standing line-up.
Reign of Terror is the second by Australian metalcore band Capture The Crown. This is the final album the band released with the name Capture the Crown before they changed their name to just Capture. The album was produced by both Matt Good and Taylor Larson from the band From First to Last, and was released through the record label Artery Recordings. The first single off the album, "To Whom It May Concern", was released on 9 June 2014. It is the last album to feature guitarists Kris Sheehan, Jye Menzies, and drummer, Tyler March, after their departures on 4 October 2014, as well as the first album to feature bassist Maurice Morfaw. Reign of Terror was re-released as a deluxe edition with the five tracks from the "Live Life" EP on 24 November. Reign of Terror charted at No. 86 on the U.S. Billboard 200, the band's first album to chart in the U.S., as well as the third Australian metal band to chart.
