Halsey B. Frank is an American attorney who served as the United States Attorney for the District of Maine from 2017 to 2021. Prior to assuming the role of U.S. Attorney,he served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Maine. Frank previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia and as a trial attorney in the torts branch of the civil division in the United States Department of Justice. [1] He has prosecuted a number of high-profile criminal cases in Maine. [2] Frank was recommended for the position of U.S. Attorney by U.S. Senator Susan Collins. [3] He was confirmed by the United States Senate on October 3,2017. He was sworn into office on October 10,2017. On February 8,2021,he along with 55 other Trump-era attorneys were asked to resign. [4] He resigned on February 28,2021. [5] Frank now serves as State Office Representative for Senator Collins in her Portland,Maine office.

On March 10,2017,Jeff Sessions,who was appointed United States attorney general by President Donald Trump,requested the resignations of 46 United States attorneys. Some resignations were declined by Sessions or Trump. Media outlets described Sessions' move as abrupt and unexpected but not unprecedented. It is typical that when a new president enters office,many sitting U.S. attorneys depart on their own initiative before their term in office has concluded,or they are asked to resign. The other 47 U.S. attorney posts were either already vacant by the end of Barack Obama's administration or the incumbent U.S. attorney had resigned at the beginning of Trump's administration.
John W. Huber is an American lawyer who served as the United States Attorney for the District of Utah from June 2015 to February 2021. He was first nominated for the position by President Barack Obama in February 2015. Huber offered his resignation in March 2017 at the request of the Trump administration. However,United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions subsequently appointed Huber as interim U.S. Attorney under the Federal Vacancies Reform Act. Huber was renominated by President Donald Trump in June 2017. On August 3,2017,he was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate to an additional four-year term as a U.S. Attorney.

Prior to assuming his current role,he was the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Jefferson County,West Virginia Prosecuting Attorney's Office. He was previously a member at the law firm of Jackson Kelly PLLC,where his practice focused on civil litigation and white-collar criminal law. He also previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of West Virginia,where he prosecuted major fraud and violent crimes. Powell was recommended for the role of U.S. Attorney by U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito. On February 8,2021,he along with 55 other Trump-era attorneys were asked to resign. Powell announced his resignation on February 10,effective February 28.
R. Andrew Murray is an American attorney who served as the United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina from 2017 to 2021. He previously served as the elected Mecklenburg County District Attorney. Prior to becoming the District Attorney of Mecklenburg County in 2011,Murray was an Assistant District Attorney in Mecklenburg County and a criminal defense attorney and managing partner in a North Carolina law firm. He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in 1980 and was later commissioned as an officer in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. In 2016,he retired as a captain after 35 years of service.
