Hamed Heidari or Abdollah Heidari Til is an Iranian-born Paralympian athlete competing mainly in category Javelin Throw - F57 events who represented Iran until 2017 after which he has represented the Republic of Azerbaijan. [2]
Hamed Heidari was born in Ardabil in Azerbaijani family. [3] He was injured during wartime and has limb deficiency. He took up Para athletics in 2009. His international debut was in 2015 in United Arab Emirates when he represented Iran. He won a silver medal in the F57 javelin throw at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro. [4] In 2017 he won a bronze medal in the F57 javelin throw at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships at London. [5]
In 2021 Heidari won a silver medal for Azerbaijan at the 2021 World Para Athletics European Championships at Bydgoszcz in the F57 javelin throw with the throw of 43.49 meters. [6] At the 2020 Summer Paralympics at Tokyo Hamed Heidari representing Azerbaijan won a gold medal in the F57 javelin throw with a world record throw of 51.42 meters, breaking the previous record of Amanolah Papi from Iran (49.56) which was set in the same session moments ago. Devendra Jhajharia is an Indian Paralympic javelin thrower competing in F46 events. He is the first Indian Paralympics player to win two gold medals at the Paralympics. Hollie Beth Arnold, is a British parasport athlete competing in category F46 javelin. Although born in Grimsby, she now lives and trains in Loughborough. She represents Wales in the Commonwealth Games.
Claudiney Batista dos Santos is a Brazilian Paralympian athlete competing in category F57/T57 throwing events. He won a silver medal in the javelin throw at the 2012 Paralympics and a gold medal in the discus throw at the 2016 Rio Games.

Herath Mudiyansalage Dinesh Priyantha, also simply known as Dinesh Priyantha, is a Sri Lankan Paralympic track and field athlete who competes in javelin T46 events. He also served as an important member for the Sri Lanka Army during the Sri Lankan Civil War. He was disabled after being shot at his left arm during the final stages of the war. He is the defending Paralympic champion in men's javelin throw F46 category. On 30 August 2021, he became the first ever Sri Lankan to win a gold medal at the Paralympics when he won the men's javelin throw F46 category. He is the current Paralympic and World record holder in men's javelin throw for F46 category.
Nozimakhon Kayumova is a visually impaired Uzbekistani Paralympic athlete and she competes in F13-classification javelin throw events. She won the gold medal in the women's javelin throw F13 event at both the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Zhao Yuping is a visually impaired Chinese Paralympic athlete competing in F12/F13-classification events. She won the gold medal in the women's javelin throw F13 event at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, France. She also won the silver medal in her event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan. She is a four-time gold medalist in this event at the World Para Athletics Championships.
