Hammer Battalion is the ninth studio album by the Swedish death metal band Unleashed. It was recorded at Fredrik Folkare's recording studio in Sweden and released on June 9, 2008, by Steamhammer (a division of SPV records). A music video was shot for Black Horizon, and it debuted on MTV Headbangers blog.

Amon Amarth Swedish melodic death metal band

Amon Amarth is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Tumba, formed in 1992. The band takes its name from the Sindarin name of Mount Doom, a volcano in J. R. R. Tolkien′s Middle-earth. Their lyrics mostly deal with Viking mythology and history, and so they have been sometimes erroneously labeled “Viking metal,” although the band insists they play melodic death metal.

Grave (band)

Grave is a Swedish death metal band that was formed in 1986 by vocalist and guitarist Ola Lindgren who is their only constant member. The band had particular success in the early 1990s, and their first four albums, Into the Grave, You'll Never See..., Soulless and Hating Life, cemented their reputation as one of Sweden's foremost death metal bands. Grave went on hiatus in 1997, but got back together two years later. Since then, they have released seven more albums, making a total of eleven studio albums. Along with Dismember, Entombed and Unleashed, Grave is considered one of the "big four" of Swedish death metal.

Unleashed is a Swedish death metal band that was formed in 1989 by Johnny Hedlund in Stockholm. Common lyrical themes found in the band's music include Viking culture, recollection of a pre-Christian world, and Norse folklore. A number of their recent songs also contain references to J. R. R. Tolkien. Unleashed is considered one of the "big four" of Swedish death metal.

Talisman (band)

Talisman was a Swedish hard rock band. Founded in 1989 by the songwriting bassist Marcel Jacob and fronted by the American singer Jeff Scott Soto, the band released seven studio albums from 1990 to 2006, before going on a farewell tour in 2007. Masarna

Masarna are a Swedish motorcycle speedway team based in Avesta, Sweden. The club was founded in 1937 as the Folkare Motorklubb but their first track was not built until 1948. Masarna joined the Swedish second division in 1958 and remained there until gaining promotion to the Elitserien in 1999. They then won their first Elitserien championship in 2000. Masarna were relegated in 2008 to the Allsvenskan after finishing bottom of the Elitserien table although they had already announced their intention to drop a division for the 2009 season.

Originally called Fireborn, the group "wanted to play faster and harder death metal than in our other bands".
