The Handa Cup is a series of senior women's golf matches between a United States team and a World Team drawn from players from the rest of the world. It was founded in 2006 and is an event on the LPGA Legends Tour. Since 2013 it has been officially known as the ISPS Handa Cup, named after its sponsor, Haruhisa Handa. [1]
The 2015 event was held on November 13–14 at Palm Aire Country Club, Sarasota, Florida.
The format is drawn from the Ryder Cup and similar team events, consisting of twelve players per side and a non-playing captain, usually a highly respected golf figure. The captains are responsible for pairing the teams in the pairs events, which consist of both alternate shot and best ball formats (also known as "foursome" and "four ball" matches respectively).
Karrie Ann Webb is an Australian professional golfer. She plays mainly on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and also turns out once or twice a year on the ALPG Tour in her home country. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. She has 41 wins on the LPGA Tour, more than any other active player.

The Wales Open is a professional golf tournament on the European Tour. It was founded in 2000 and played annually through 2014, when a 15-year deal between the tour and the Celtic Manor Resort, that included staging the 2010 Ryder Cup, came to an end. The tournament returned in 2020 as part of a revamp of the European Tour's schedule in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was part of a 6-week "UK Swing" and was again be hosted at Celtic Manor.

The Women's Australian Open is a women's professional golf tournament played in Australia, operated by Golf Australia and the ALPG Tour, long co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Beginning with the 2012 event, it is also co-sanctioned by the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. In 2008, it was the second-richest women's golf tournament on the ALPG Tour, with a prize fund of A$500,000, and was raised to A$600,000 in 2010. With the co-sanctioning by the LPGA, the total purse was nearly doubled, and was also fixed in U.S. dollars. The purse was US$1.1 million in 2012, and increased again to its current level of US$1.2 million for 2013. Since 2011, the tournament's name has been the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open.

The 2013 ISPS Handa World Cup of Golf is a golf tournament that was played 21–24 November at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia. It was the 57th World Cup. The format changed from being a team event to being primarily an individual event with a team component. Sixty players from 34 countries competed in the individual tournament and 26 teams competed for the team prize. The total purse was US$8 million, $7 million for the individual competition and $1 million for the teams. The event was a 72-hole stroke play tournament. Official World Golf Ranking points were award for the first time in the World Cup.

David Connor James Law is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2018 SSE Scottish Hydro Challenge on the Challenge Tour and had his first European Tour victory, the ISPS Handa Vic Open, in early 2019.
