Handsome Western States is indie rock band Beulah's debut album, released in 1997. [5] The sound is much less polished and elaborate than later albums. The album went out of print in 1999 but was re-pressed with new artwork in 2002. The album was never released in Europe, however. Because of this, many of the band's European singles were pressed with songs from Handsome Western States as B-sides.
