Haniya, or Al Haniyah, is a town in the District of Jebel el-Akhdar in north-eastern Libya. [2]

Al Abraq is a town in Libya, in the Derna District. It is located 23 km east of Bayda, Other names include the transliterations Al Labrag, Al Labraq, Al Lazraq, and El-Abràgh, as well as the Italian Luigi di Savoia. According to the census of 2006, the city had a population of 8861 people.

Zeb and Haniya was a Pakistani music group of two cousins from Kohat. It was active from 2007 to 2014. The duo's have sung songs in Urdu, Pashto, Dari and Turkish, often combining the pop music with folk music and creating a diverse body of work. Their music was described at various times as alternative, art folk, ethnic blues and easy listening by international reviewer's and critics.

Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu is a Pakistani drama serial directed by Mehreen Jabbar, based on a novel of the same name written by Farhat Ishtiaq. It was originally aired on Hum TV from 2 March 2012 to 22 June 2012. The drama follows the lives of two Columbia students, Haniya Sajjad and Ibad Uzair. Haniya is a second generation Pakistani immigrant who loses her parents early on in the drama series. Ibad is a young Pakistani who has joined Columbia university for his master's degree after completing his bachelor's degree from NED University, Karachi and a brief stint at his father's business It has aired on Indian channel Zee Zindagi as Meri Jaan Hai Tu.

Ismail Abdel Salam Ahmed Haniyeh is a senior political leader of Hamas and formerly one of two disputed Prime Ministers of the Palestinian National Authority. Haniyeh became prime minister after Hamas won the Palestinian legislative elections of 2006. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah–Hamas conflict, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continued to exercise prime ministerial authority in the Gaza Strip. In September 2016, reports indicated Haniyeh would replace Khaled Meshaal as Chief of Hamas's Political Bureau. He was elected as Hamas political chief on 6 May 2017.
Al Hamamah is a village on the coast of eastern Libya, some 20 km (12 mi) north of Al Bayda. Roads are connecting her with Al Bayda and with Al Haniya to the west. There is an imperfect track between her and Susa.
