Unsanctioned albums

After Williams left the label, Curb Records decided to release old materials but advertising those albums as new releases. Williams, who never authorized these albums, rejected their validity.

Hillbilly Joker

Released May 17, 2011 on the sublabel Sidewalk Records.

Basically it's the album This Ain't Country, [2] recorded in 2001 but rejected by the label. [3] Two missing tracks ("Hang On" and "Runnin' and Gunnin'") were not included here but on the third collection.

Lucinda Gayl Williams[a] is an American singer-songwriter and a solo guitarist. In 1988, she released her third album, Lucinda Williams, to widespread critical acclaim. Three Hanks: Men with Broken Hearts is a collaborative studio album released by Curb Records in 1996. It combines the songs of Hank Williams, who died in 1953, with newly recorded accompanying vocals from his son Hank Williams Jr. and grandson Hank Williams III, the latter of whom makes his recording debut. Aside from Hank Williams' songs, this album also features a new song written by Hank Williams Jr. titled "Hand Me Down". The album was recorded largely to cover Williams III's child support debts.

The album, distributed without Williams' approval or knowledge, is a collection of six cover songs as well as outtakes from his first two solo albums, Risin' Outlaw and Lovesick, Broke and Driftin'.

The Damn Band is the backing band of Hank Williams III. It was formed in 1995, and the band is on most of Williams's country records. The band has had many changes in the line-ups. It consists of acoustic guitar, steel guitar, fiddle, bass, drums, electric guitar and banjo.
