Hannu Koponen (born 8 November 1959, in Kaavi) is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and world champion.

He received a gold medal in the short course, a gold medal in the relay, and a silver medal in the long course at the 1988 World Ski Orienteering Championships in Kuopio. [1]

Olavi Svanberg was a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. He received an individual gold medal at the first World Ski Orienteering Championships in Hyvinkää in 1975, and also won the first gold medal in the relay event with the Finnish team. He was again world champion in 1982 in Aigen.

He also received an individual silver medal in 1975, and a bronze medal at the 1977 World Championships in Avesta.

Pertti Tikka is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. He received an individual gold medal at the World Ski Orienteering Championships in Avesta in 1980. He received a silver medal in 1982, and a bronze medal in 1984.

Mirja Puhakka is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. She received an individual gold medal at the World Ski Orienteering Championships in Avesta in 1980, and again in Lavarone in 1984. She won the relay event in the 1980 World Championships with the Finnish team, and received silver medals in 1982 and in 1984.

Erja Jokinen is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor. She won a gold medal in the relay event at the 2004 World Ski Orienteering Championships. She received a total of eight silver and bronze medals at the World Championships in 2002, 2005 and 2007. Jokinen became Junior World Champion in 1998.

Jukka Lanki is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor who has represented Finland internationally from 1996. He has achieved silver medals at the world championships, both individually and in the relay. In the World Cup his best overall result is finishing second in 2001, as well as several victories in individual races.

Hannele Tonna is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and World Champion. She won a gold medal in the sprint at the 2009 World Ski Orienteering Championships. She won silver medals in the long distance in 2004, and again in 2007.

Sirpa Kukkonen is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and World Champion.

Kaija Silvennoinen is a Finnish ski orienteering competitor. At the World Ski Orienteering Championships in 1977 in Velingrad, Bulgaria, she won a gold medal in the relay, with Aila Flöjt and Sinikka Kukkonen, and placed fourth in the individual contest. At the World Ski Orienteering Championships in 1980 she won a gold medal with the Finnish relay team, together with Mirja Puhakka and Sinikka Kukkonen, and a silver medal in the individual contest.

Aila Flöjt is a Finnish ski orienteering competitor. At the World Ski Orienteering Championships in 1975 she won a gold medal with the Finnish relay team, together with Raili Sallinen and Sinikka Kukkonen, and placed seventh in the individual contest. At the 1977 World Championships in Velingrad, Bulgaria, she won a gold medal in the relay, with Kaija Halonen and Sinikka Kukkonen, and placed fifth in the individual contest.

Mervi Väisänen is a Finnish ski-orienteering and mountain bike orienteering competitor.
