Hans Arne Jensen

Hans Arne Jensen is a Danish botanist, agronomist, and writer.

Jensen earned a PhD at Agricultural University in Copenhagen, and then worked for 40 years for the Ministry of Agriculture, Plant Directorate, at the Danish state seed testing station. His researches in paleobotany include publications on organic macrofossils, on the germination of ancient seeds, and archaeological investigations into seeds and crops in Viking-era Danish towns. Dissing+Weitling is an architecture and design practice in Copenhagen, Denmark. The founders and namesakes Hans Dissing and Otto Weitling founded the firm upon the death of Arne Jacobsen as a continuation of his office where both had been key employees.

Hans Arne Jensen is a Tongan competitive archer. Representing his nation Tonga at the 2015 World Championships and at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Jensen trained under the tutelage of his Danish father and head coach Hans Jensen.
