Harare International Conference Center

Harare International Conference Center (HICC) is an events venue in Zimbabwe, known for hosting major events in the country. The venue is at the Rainbow Towers Hotel administered by Rainbow Towers Group. [1]

The main conferencing auditorium has capacity of 4500 seats and indoor floor space of 5000sqm which can host up to 128 exhibition stands. [2] [3]

Harare Sports Club is a sports club and the Harare Sports Club Ground is a cricket stadium in Harare, Zimbabwe. Founded in 1900 and known as Salisbury Sports Club until 1982, it is mostly used for cricket matches, and has served as the primary cricket venue in Rhodesia and Zimbabwe since its foundation. Other sports played at the club are rugby, tennis, golf and squash.

Lovejoy Matare, popularly known by his stage name L kat, is a Zimbabwean hip hop recording artist originally from Kwekwe, Zimbabwe. He records mostly in Shona, his native tongue. In 2005, he released his first single "Wandinoda" as part of his high school compilation album dubbed Manunure High School Mic Fever 1. In 2013, he released his debut studio album Goodlife while signed to Maskiri's record label, Mhondoro Music. The album was supported by the singles "Ndinotya", "Ndiudze", "Tisanyadzise", and "Kupiko". On 6 April 2015, he released an EP album The Golden Episode. The album's singles include "Zita Rako", "My Special Munhu" and "Rudo Ma1". L kat has won several music awards, including multiple Midlands Music Awards and also have been nominated in the Zimbabwe Music Awards.

Mukudzeyi Mukombe, better known as Jah Prayzah, is a Zimbabwean contemporary musician and lead member of the band Third Generation. Regarded as the most prolific musician of his generation in the country, he was popularly referred to by fans and media as "Masoja", the Shona word for "soldier", a name he earned mostly because of his signature band uniform of military regalia. The name "Jah Prayzah" comes from his name, "Mukudzeyi", which means "Praise Him".

Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (Z.A.A.) also referred to as Zim Achievers Awards is an awards ceremony that seeks to recognise Zimbabweans based in the diaspora for outstanding and notable achievements. Tendazvaitwa Medea Chitimbe is a Zimbabwean dancehall musician who adopted the moniker ‘Ninja Lady’ from her boss and mentor Winky D who is called Ninja President by his legion of fans. She first rose to fame after featuring in Winky D's song Taitirana paFirst Sight in 2011.

Coco weAfrica, is a Zimbabwean musical artist popular on Afrobeats, known for his 2016 hit song "Mai VaDhikondo". At the time he was known as Coco Master, which he then changed to Coco weAfrica.

The 2019 Star FM Music Awards were held on February 1, 2019, at Zimbali Gardens in Harare, Zimbabwe. The awards identify musical excellence, providing a multifaceted celebration of the rich cultural diversity of Zimbabwean music.

Gary Tight is a Zimbabwean Afro-pop artist. He is the son of Zimbabwean Afro-Jazz musician Willom Tight. Tight rose to countrywide prominence as a mentee of the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi.

Admire Kasi, also known as Addy Kasi, is a Zimbabwean gospel music producer and promoter who rose to prominence when he launched the first gospel festival in Zimbabwe, Nguva Yakwana Gospel Concert. His influence was generated when he became an international pastor for ZAOGA church, during that time he launched a lunchtime prayer movement that became popular spreading around Harare CBD in the 90s.

McDonald Sheldon, known professionally as Qounfuzed is a Zimbabwean singer and songwriter. He rose to prominence in 2011 when he released Chimbovarega single which became a radio hit.

Kudzai Violet Gwara popularly known as KVG is a Zimbabwean radio personality, television and events host as well as brand influencer. She presents 326 Express show on Star FM Zimbabwe.

Mukudzei Chitsama, known professionally as Holy Ten is a Zimbabwean rapper, song writer and music producer and nicknamed "Mujaya" by fans, is a prominent figure in Zimbabwe’s hip hop scene.
