Harihar Khambholja was an Indian independence movement activist, Mahagujarat movement activist and Indian politician from Gujarat, India. [1] [2] [3] [4] He was a member of Indian National Congress.

Born in Brahmin family, later he became Minister of state for finance and planning in Gujarat when Madhav Singh Solanki became chief minister first time. [5] [6] [7] [8] During Mahagujarat movement, he was secretary of the Mahagujarat Janta Parishad, the apex organisation formed to demand the separate Gujarat state from Bombay State. [9]

He was elected to Gujarat Legislative Assembly in 1975 and 1980 from Umreth constituency.

Ram Vilas Paswan Indian politician

Ram Vilas Paswan was an Indian politician from Bihar and the Cabinet Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in the first and second Modi ministries. Paswan was also the president of the Lok Janshakti Party, nine-times Lok Sabha member and two-time Rajya Sabha MP. He started his political career as member of Samyukta Socialist Party and was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1969. Later, Paswan joined Lok Dal upon its formation in 1974, and became its general secretary. He opposed the emergency, and was arrested during this period. Sushil Kumar Modi Indian politician (born 1952)

Sushil Kumar Modi is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party who is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Bihar. Ashok Chandulal Bhatt (1939-2010) was an Indian politician from Gujarat state, affiliated with Bharatiya Jana Sangh and Bharatiya Janata Party. He was the Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly when he died.

Amritlal Kalidas Patel is an Indian politician and physician. He is a former union minister of state in Government of India. He served as Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilisers in Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government from 1998 to 1999. He was a senior leader of Gujarat Bharatiya Janata Party. He represented Mehsana constituency in the Lok Sabha from 1984 to 1999.

2014 Indian general election General election held in India in 2014

General elections were held in India in nine phases from 7 April to 12 May 2014 to elect the members of the 16th Lok Sabha. With 834 million registered voters, they were the largest-ever elections in the world until being surpassed by the 2019 elections. Around 23.1 million or 2.7% of the total eligible voters were aged 18–19 years. A total of 8,251 candidates contested the 543 elected Lok Sabha seats. The average election turnout over all nine phases was around 66.40%, the highest ever in the history of Indian general elections.

Suvendu Adhikari is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party who is the current Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from 10 May 2021. Amit Shah Minister of Home Affairs (India)

Amit Anil Chandra Shah is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister of Home Affairs and the first Minister of Co-operation of India. He served as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 2014 to 2020. He has also served as chairman of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) since 2014. He was elected to the lower house of Parliament, Lok Sabha, in the 2019 Indian general elections from Gandhinagar. Indulal Yagnik

Indulal Kanaiyalal Yagnik was an Indian independence activist, who purchased indian tri colour flag from Germany to India. He was a leader of the All India Kisan Sabha and one who led the Mahagujarat Movement, which spearheaded the demand for the separate statehood of Gujarat on 8 August 1956. He is also known as Indu Chacha. He was also a writer and film maker.

Mulayam Singh Yadav 15th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and 10th Defence Minister of India

Mulayam Singh Yadav is an Indian politician and the founder-patron of the Samajwadi Party. He served for three non-consecutive terms as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, and also served as the Minister of Defence, Government of India.
