Harinie Jeevitha (Tamil : ஹரிணி ஜீவிதா is an Indian classical dancer and choreographer. The disciple of Smt Sheela Unnikrishnan of Sridevi Nrithyalaya, she started dancing at the young age of six in the Melattur style of Bharathanatyam (Bharatanatyam). [1]

Contents

Critics and connoisseurs have applauded her for bringing depth, passion and spontaneity into her work. Harinie Jeevitha is a dancer conferred with Bal Shree title from National BalBhavan, 2009. She performed her Arangetram in 2006. [2] She has performed in major festivals in India and has also displayed her talent in many cultural capitals of the world.

She has also written a book, "Perspectives," illustrated by Meghna Unnikrishnan.

Sridevi Nrithyalaya is a dance school based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The school was founded in 1987 and operates as a trust. The main aim of the institution is to support and promote the southern Indian classical dance form Bharathanatayam. It specialises in Melattur style of Bharathanayam.

Meenakshi Chitharanjan, an Indian classical dancer, teacher and choreographer, is known as an exponent of the Pandanallur style of the classical dance form of Bharatanatyam. She is the founder of Kaladiksha, an institution promoting Bharatanatyam and striving to preserve the Pandanallur tradition. She is also one of the disciples of the late Shri Pattabhi Jois in the discipline of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga and has developed her own subdomain in Vasundhara Style.

Kalamandalam Sugandhi is a Mohiniyattam dancer, choreographer and dance teacher from Kerala, India. She received several awards including Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Fellowship, Kerala Konkani Sahitya Academy Award and Kerala Kalamandalam Award.
