Harry H. Pfeiffer (died October 1970) was an American politician. [2] He served as a Republican member for the 72nd district of the Florida House of Representatives. [3] [4] [5]
Pfeiffer moved to Cocoa Beach,Florida in the 1950s. [1] In 1967,he was elected as a member for the newly established 72nd district of the Florida House of Representatives. [3] In October 1967 he was accused of making false campaign reports but the charges were dismissed the following January. [1] In March 1968 Pfeiffer announced that he would not run for re-election, [6] and he was succeeded by Richard J. Tillman in 1970. [3]
On October 20,1970,Pfeiffer was found dead in the sea off Cocoa Beach,Florida with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. [1] [7]

George William Wilson,Sr. was a professional football end and later a coach for the National Football League (NFL)'s Detroit Lions and the American Football League (AFL)'s Miami Dolphins. Wilson attended and played football at Northwestern University. He went undrafted in 1937,before being signed by the Chicago Bears. Wilson played for ten seasons with the Bears,compiling overall record of 111 pass receptions,1,342 receiving yards,and fifteen touchdowns. He was a member of the Bears during their five appearances in the National Football League Championship Game from 1940–1943 and 1946. Additionally,he was selected for the NFL All-Star Game from 1940–1942. He also played one season of professional basketball for the Chicago Bruins in 1939–40. Chiles soundly defeated Bryant in the run-off election,scoring a major upset due to his comparatively small name recognition prior to the election. To acquire name recognition and media coverage,Chiles walked about 1,003 miles (1,614 km) across the state of Florida and was given the nickname "Walkin' Lawton".
