Harry Hookey is a singer-songwriter from Victoria, Australia. [1] His debut album Misdiagnosed was nominated for a 2014 ARIA Award for Best Blues & Roots Album. [2] [3] He is currently part of Desert Alien, a band with his brothers Jack Hookey and Jesse Kidd.
Hookey was educated at Cowwarr Primary School and was School Captain in 2000. Hookey holds degrees in Arts and Law from The University of Melbourne. [4] His father taught him to play guitar at the age of 16, with Hookey starting his music career playing in country pubs in a family band with his father and two brothers. His first gig was at the Cowwarr Cricket Club Hotel.
After moving back to Australia after a stint in Nashville, Tennessee, he lived as a recluse for 3 years in ramshackle farmhouse in central Gippsland working on his musical abilities. [5]
In 2021, he released his sophomore album as harry hook is real "No Snake in the Tree". Due to a record label complication, he can no longer release music as Harry Hookey.

Wesley Dean "Wes" Carr, also recording as Buffalo Tales, is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, best known for winning the sixth season of Australian Idol in 2008. He released his first studio album, Simple Sum, independently in 2008 shortly before entering Australian Idol. After Idol, he signed a record deal with Sony Music Australia and released his debut single, "You". The song peaked at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified Gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). Carr's second studio album, The Way the World Looks, soon followed after. It reached number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and also achieved Gold certification. The second single "Feels Like Woah" peaked at number 14 and gained Gold certification. In June 2011, Carr released "Been a Long Time", the lead single from his third album. It peaked at number 33 on the ARIA Singles Chart. In November 2011, Carr announced that he was no longer with Sony and would be releasing his album independently. In August 2012 Carr released an EP titled Blood & Bone under the pseudonym Buffalo Tales. His third studio album "Roadtrip Confessions" was released in June 2013 and debuted at number 83.
Daniel Leo Sultan is an Australian alternative rock singer-songwriter and guitarist, actor and author. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2010 he won Best Male Artist and Best Blues & Roots Album for his second album, Get Out While You Can. At the 2014 ceremony he won Best Rock Album for Blackbird, which had reached number four on the ARIA Albums Chart. In 2017, Sultan's record Killer was nominated for three ARIA awards: Best Male Artist, Best Rock Album, and Best Independent Release. Sultan's debut children's music album Nali & Friends was named Best Children's Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 2019.
Boy & Bear are an Australian indie folk band formed in 2009, consisting of David Hosking, Killian Gavin, Tim Hart, Jonathan Hart, and David Symes (bass).
