Hassan Chahine is a retired Moroccan hammer thrower.

He won the bronze medal at the 1983 Maghreb Championships [1] finished fourth at the 1989 Jeux de la Francophonie, [2] won the silver medal at the 1989 African Championships, the silver medal at the 1990 African Championships [3] and the bronze medal at the 1990 Maghreb Championships. [1]

His personal best throw was 67.30 metres, achieved in October 1989 in Cairo. [4] This was the Moroccan record until 2013.

Abdelwahab Ferguène is an Algerian former racewalking athlete who competed in the 20 kilometres race walk. He was also a three-time participant at the World Championships in Athletics and a four-time representative at the IAAF World Race Walking Cup. He was a two-time winner of the African Championships in Athletics and won four continental silver medals. He also finished in the top two at the Maghreb Athletics Championships and Arab Athletics Championships throughout his career.
