Hate Culture is the debut studio album by William Control. It was released on October 28, 2008 through independent label Victory Records. [1]
The album was written, produced and engineered by William Control. It was mixed by Justin Armstrong and William Control at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle in July 2008. [2]
The album is a concept album that follows a man named William Control on the last day before he kills himself. Speaking to Kerrang! in 2009, Francis said:
That came out of some serious desperation and hopelessness. Being on the road for five years had worn me down. I’d literally been home for three months in those five years and there were internal problems within Aiden that, coupled with some things that were going in my personal life, meant I snapped and had a breakdown. I went home and wrote some songs that didn’t really fit Aiden. We’re a punk rock band who like horror films…and those were more electronic and dark. I showed them to the label and they liked them so I put together William Control as a solo project and that album came together pretty quickly as a therapeutic outlet. [3]
The single "Beautiful Loser" was released on iTunes on September 30, 2008. On November 4, a music video directed by Kevin McVey was released. [4] [5] In February and March 2009, the band supported Escape the Fate on their headlining tour in the U.S. [6]

"Hate to Say I Told You So" is the first single from Swedish rock band the Hives' second studio album, Veni Vidi Vicious. It was first released as a single on 4 December 2000 and was later re-released in several countries in 2002. It is internationally known as the Hives' signature song.

William Control is an American electronic music project founded in 2008 in Seattle, Washington. It was the side project of Aiden's William Francis before Aiden's hiatus, and he later operated as William Control full-time. 'William Control' therefore refers to both the band as a whole and to Francis as his stage name. Francis was signed to Victory Records before starting his own independent label, Control Records, and, as William Control, has released five full-length albums, an EP, two acoustic albums, two live DVDs and a remix album (Remix). The first part of Revelations, The Pale, was released on October 14, 2016. The second EP The Black followed on February 17, 2017, and the third, entitled The Red, followed that with a release date of July 14 of the same year. The album was completed by The White on November 24.
The Betrayed is the fourth studio album by Welsh rock band Lostprophets, released through Visible Noise and Sony Music on 13 January 2010. Although the band initially wished to record a quick follow-up to 2006's Liberation Transmission, problems with labels and producers led to numerous delays. Consequently, tracks from the album were performed live as early as 2007, but recording was not completed until July 2009, following an entire album's worth of material being scrapped by the band.
Weapons is the fifth and final studio album by the Welsh alternative rock band Lostprophets. It was released through Epic Records on 2 April 2012. It was the first and only record featuring Luke Johnson on drums, after being with two other drummers previously, Mike Chiplin and Ilan Rubin. This was the last album to be released by the band before lead vocalist Ian Watkins was convicted of numerous sex offences, which led to their disbandment.
Silentium Amoris, the third studio album by William Control, was released on April 2, 2012 through Control Records. It was produced and engineered by William Control, and mixed by Justin Armstrong. Recording and mixing took place at the Control Room in January/February 2012. A video for the only single, Kiss Me Judas, was released on YouTube, although a video was also released for The Velvet Warms And Binds. A portion of the proceeds from the album was donated to the Ryther Treatment Center, where Francis lived for a time as a teenager.

Ashestoangels were an English horror punk six piece band hailing from Bristol, England. The band is widely recognised as "ringleaders of the U.K. 'new grave' movement," a term coined by Kerrang! Magazine to describe dark alternative rock bands, including New Years Day, DEAD! and Creeper.
The Peace and the Panic is the third studio album by Welsh pop punk band Neck Deep. After the release of Life's Not out to Get You in mid-2015, guitarist Lloyd Roberts left the group and was replaced by Sam Bowden of Blood Youth/Climates. The group planned to work on material for their follow-up album by the end of the year, though were unable due to tour commitments. In June 2016, the band went on a two-week writing retreat in Wales, creating 40 song drafts in the process. At the end of the year, vocalist Ben Barlow said the group had around 30 demos and two completed songs. Following a support slot for A Day to Remember in early 2017, the band began recording The Peace and the Panic in March and April in Los Angeles, California. Mike Green produced the album with assistance from engineers Will McCoy and Colin Schwanke. Most of the album was mixed by Neal Avron, while Green mixed three of the songs.
