Revelations: The Pale EP is the first in a series of four EPs that make up Revelations, the fifth studio album by William Control. The other three are The Black , The Red and The White, after the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. [2] [3] It was released by Control Records on October 14, 2016 and peaked at number one on both the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the Heatseekers chart. [4] [5]

Contents

A video for The Monster was shot by Terry Matlin in New York City in July 2016 and released on September 4. [6] [7] Confess was filmed by Kenneth Fletcher in an Edinburgh cemetery during the band's September 2016 UK Synths and Sinners Tour and released on October 26. [8] [9] When The Love Is Pain followed on November 12, and it was directed by Jacob Johnston. [10] Mother Superior, directed by Kevin Preston, completed the quartet on January 25, 2017. [11]

The EP was recorded at Control's Hell's Half Acre studio and was produced and engineered by Kenneth Fletcher, and engineered and mixed by Axel Otero of the band Lay Your Ghost. It was mastered by John Troxell. Fans were invited down to the Control Merch shop to record gang vocals. [12]

Monster is the ninth studio album by American rock band R.E.M., released on September 27, 1994, by Warner Bros. Records. William Control Electronic music group

William Control is an American electronic music project founded in 2008 in Seattle, Washington. It was the side project of Aiden's William Francis before Aiden's hiatus, and he later operated as William Control full-time. 'William Control' therefore refers to both the band as a whole and to Francis as his stage name. Francis was signed to Victory Records before starting his own independent label, Control Records, and, as William Control, has released five full-length albums, an EP, two acoustic albums, two live DVDs and a remix album (Remix). The first part of Revelations, The Pale, was released on October 14, 2016. The second EP The Black followed on February 17, 2017, and the third, entitled The Red, followed that with a release date of July 14 of the same year. The album was completed by The White on November 24.

Of Monsters and Men is an Icelandic indie folk/rock band formed in Reykjavík in 2010. Freudian is the debut studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Daniel Caesar. It was released independently on August 25, 2017, by Golden Child Recordings, with distribution from TuneCore. It includes guest appearances from Kali Uchis, H.E.R., Syd, Charlotte Day Wilson and Sean Leon.
