Havarlı, also Gavarly (Armenian : Հավարիք or ՀավարիկHavarikʿ or Havarik) is a village and municipality in the Yevlakh Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 3,362. The municipality consists of the villages of Havarlı and Əxşam. [1]

Beylagan District Rayon in Azerbaijan

Beylagan (Beyləqan) is a rayon of Azerbaijan, with capital city being Beylagan. Beylagan district was founded on November 24, 1939 and called Jdanov during 1939 - 1963 period. In 1963 Beylagan district was liquidated and merged with the Imishli district. The name of the district was renamed Beylagan with regard to the 1989 dated decree of the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan SSR. Center of the district is Beylagan city where got city status in 1966. Milli Majlis was the first secular republican parliament in the Muslim world.

Vasif Asadov is a retired male triple jumper who represented the Soviet Union and later Azerbaijan. He won bronze medals at the 1988 European Indoor Championships in Budapest and the 1995 Asian Championships in Jakarta. He competed for Azerbaijan at the 1996 Summer Olympics, without reaching the final. His personal best results was 17.33 metres, achieved in June 1990 in Bryansk.

Garay Latif oglu Asadov was an Azerbaijani Red Army sergeant and a posthumous Hero of the Soviet Union. Asadov was posthumously awarded the title on 24 March 1945 for his actions during the Debrecen Offensive Operation. He was reported to have killed 16 German soldiers and was killed while covering a bunker opening with his body.
