Hayato Watanabe (born 12 July 1993) is a Japanese swimmer. [1] He competed in the men's 100 metre breaststroke event at the 2018 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m), in Hangzhou, China. [2]

The Men's 100 Breaststroke at the 10th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) was swum 15 – 16 December 2010 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On 15 December, 85 individuals swam in the Preliminary heats in the morning, with the top-16 finishers advancing to swim again in the Semifinals that night. The top-8 finishers from the Semifinals then advanced to swim in the Final the next evening.

Michael Andrew is an American competitive swimmer and the 2016 world champion in the 100 meter individual medley. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal and set a world record as part of the 4x100 meter medley relay, placed fourth in the 100 meter breaststroke, fourth in the 50 meter freestyle, and fifth in the 200 meter individual medley. He was the first swimmer to represent the United States at an Olympic Games in an individual breaststroke event as well as another individual event other than an individual medley.
