Haymakers is a 1785 genre painting by the British artist George Stubbs. [1] [2] It depicts a group of farmworker engaged in haymaking in the English countryside.

It was produced with a pendant piece Reapers. [3] Both paintings were exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art's 1786 Summer Exhibition at Somerset House, the first time he had shown pictures there since 1782. Today it is in the collection of the Tate Britain in London, having been acquired in 1977. [4]
