"Headshot" is a song by Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA. It was released by Real Hasta la Muerte on September 19, 2024. [1] The song is written by Anuel AA with EZ Made da Beat, Nely el Arma Secreta, Prida and Jaco handling the production. [2]
The song is divided into two parts, with the melody changing in the second part. Anuel AA generated controversy by mentioning Colombian singer and songwriter Feid. He also mentioned globally famous singers including Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Mac Miller and Central Cee. [3]
The music video was released on September 19, 2024, on Anuel AA's YouTube channel. It was directed by Spiff TV in collaboration with Netflix and contains the participation of American actor and WWE superstar Dave Bautista. [4] In the music video, Anuel AA plays the role of Blaze who is going to avenge his brother who was murdered by drug dealers.

Austin Agustín Santos, better known by his stage name Arcángel, is an American rapper and singer. He is often described as one of the most influential artists in the Latin urban genre, as well in Latin music overall, and one of the pioneers of Latin trap music. Around 2002, he became interested in becoming a performer of reggaeton. He is recognized for working with artists such as Arcángel, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel, Ozuna, De la Ghetto, Anuel AA, Bad Bunny among others. He has won Billboard Latin Music Awards for producer of the year in 2019.
Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, known professionally as Anuel AA, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. His music often contains samples and interpolations of songs that were popular during his youth. He is seen as a controversial figure in the Latin music scene for his legal troubles and feuds with fellow Puerto Rican rappers Cosculluela, Ivy Queen, and Arcángel as well as American rapper 6ix9ine. Raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, he started recording music at age fourteen and began posting it online four years later in 2014, before eventually signing to the Latin division of fellow American rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. His 2016 mixtape Real Hasta la Muerte was well-received, but his success was put on hold the same year by a 30-month prison sentence for illegal firearm possession in Puerto Rico. He recorded the entirety of his debut album while incarcerated, during which time his genre of music surged in popularity.
