Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago,known professionally as Anuel AA,is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. His music often contains samples and interpolations of songs that were popular during his youth. He is seen as a controversial figure in the Latin music scene for his legal troubles and feuds with fellow Puerto Rican rappers Cosculluela,Ivy Queen,and Arcángel as well as American rapper 6ix9ine. Raised in Carolina,Puerto Rico,he started recording music at age fourteen and began posting it online four years later in 2014,before eventually signing to the Latin division of fellow American rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. His 2016 mixtape Real Hasta la Muerte was well-received,but his success was put on hold the same year by a 30-month prison sentence for illegal firearm possession in Puerto Rico. He recorded the entirety of his debut album while incarcerated,during which time his genre of music surged in popularity.
Emanuel Herrera Batista,known by his stage name El Alfa or El Alfa El Jefe,is a Dominican rapper,known as the King of Dembow. Batista was born in Bajos de Haina,Santo Domingo. He is known for his initial afro hairstyle which led him to popularity in the early 2010s through songs like "Tarzan","Coche Bomba" and "Muevete Jevi". He went on to form good relationships with many artists from Puerto Rico,such as Nicky Jam,Farruko,and Myke Towers amongst others. This resulted in one of the biggest collaborations in dembow history,led by El Alfa,when he released "Suave (Remix)" in December 2018 alongside Chencho Corleone,Bryant Myers,Miky Woodz,Jon Z and Noriel.
Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Rivera,known professionally as Miky Woodz,is a Puerto Rican rapper. To date,he has released three studio albums,Before Famous in 2017,El OG in 2018,and most recently,in 2020,Los 90 Piketes,which are all commercial successes.
"Culpables" is a song by Colombian singer Karol G and Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA. It was digitally released on September 14,2018,and was included as the tenth single in Karol G's album Ocean (2019). A Latin trap song,"Culpables" revolves around a love affair between two persons,each of whom has already had a partner. A black-and-white music video was released on September 5 on YouTube,and became one of the singers' most-viewed music videos on the platform. The song was written by Myke Towers and produced by Fara. On October 28,2020,a remix of the song with the participation of Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA and Dominican singer Natti Natasha was released as a single for digital download and streaming. On Christmas Day of 2021,Natti Natasha performed a medley of "Diosa (remix)",which was part of her live album Regalo de Madre (2021).
JoséÁngel López Martínez,known by his stage name Jay Wheeler,is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Wheeler first became widely known after a video of him singing went viral in 2016,after which he began pursuing a career as a musician. Signing with Dynamic Records in 2018,his debut album Platónico was released the following year,executively produced by DJ Nelson. His second effort,Platónicos,again produced by DJ Nelson,was released in 2020,and contained the successful single "La Curiosidad" featuring Myke Towers,which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart.
