"The Sound of Silence" is a song by the American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, written by Paul Simon. The duo's studio audition of the song led to a record deal with Columbia Records, and the original acoustic version was recorded in March 1964 at Columbia's 7th Avenue Recording Studios in New York City for their debut album, Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M., released that October to disappointing sales. An overdubbed electric remix was released the following year and went to number one on the Billboard singles chart.

Alan Olav Walker is a Norwegian DJ and music producer. His songs "Faded," "Sing Me to Sleep," "Alone," "All Falls Down" and "Darkside" have each been multi platinum certification and reached number 1 on the VG-lista chart in Norway. Walker's music style is reminiscent of slightly slower-paced progressive house, 1990s trance music, or dubstep with a smoother rhythmic edge.
"Sub pielea mea" is a song recorded by Moldovan band Carla's Dreams. The song was released on 20 January 2016 and it is part of the third album of the band "NGOC".

"Star Walkin' " is a song by American rapper Lil Nas X. It was released as a single through Columbia Records & Riot Games on September 22, 2022. The anthem for 2022 League of Legends World Championship was written by Lil Nas X, Atia "Ink" Boggs and the song's producers, Cirkut and Omer Fedi.
"Creepin'" is a song by American record producer Metro Boomin, Canadian singer the Weeknd, and British-American rapper 21 Savage. It was sent to Italian contemporary hit radio through Republic Records and Boominati Worldwide as the lead and only single from Metro's second studio album, Heroes & Villains, on January 27, 2023. It is a remake of "I Don't Wanna Know" (2004) by Mario Winans featuring Enya and P. Diddy, which is based on a sample of the Fugees' song "Ready or Not" (1996), and itself samples Enya's "Boadicea" (1987). Winans himself returned to contribute to the song as a backing vocalist along with Travis Scott. Diddy himself would also join the artists on a remix of the song on March 17, 2023.
"Whistle" is a song by British DJ Jax Jones and British singer Calum Scott. It was released on 10 February 2023 via Polydor Records. "Whistle" peaked at number 14 on the UK Singles Chart.
"Substitution" is a song by German DJ and record producer Purple Disco Machine and French DJ and record producer Kungs featuring English singer Julian Perretta. It was released on 30 March 2023 through Columbia, Sony Music Germany, GmbH/Val, Def Jam and Universal Music France. The song samples "Big In Japan" by Alphaville.
"Italodisco" is a song by Italian rock band the Kolors, released on 5 May 2023 through Warner. It topped the Italian chart in July 2023, and also reached the top 10 in Poland, Lithuania, Switzerland and Austria. The English version of the song was released on 15 September 2023, translated by Gary Go for Warner Music Group.
"When We Were Young (The Logical Song)" is a song by French DJ and producer David Guetta and German singer and songwriter Kim Petras, released as a single on 10 November 2023 through What a DJ and Warner Music UK. It was written by Guetta, Jakke Erixson, Madison Love, Nick Long and Roger Davies, and produced by Guetta and Erixson. The song interpolates the 1979 song "The Logical Song" by British rock band Supertramp, written by Roger Hodgson. It charted in the UK and across Europe.
"Beautiful Things" is a song by American singer and songwriter Benson Boone. It was released on January 18, 2024, through Night Street Records and Warner Records as the lead single of his debut studio album, Fireworks & Rollerblades (2024). The song was co-written by Boone with Jack LaFrantz and Evan Blair, and produced by the latter. "Beautiful Things" peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States, "Beautiful Things" topped the charts in several other countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
"Whatever" is a song by Norwegian DJ Kygo and American singer Ava Max. It was released on 19 January 2024 through RCA Records, as the lead single from Kygo's eponymous fifth studio album. The tropical house song was written by both artists alongside Cleo Tighe, Jonah Shy, Petey Martin and Rollo. It contains an interpolation of Shakira's 2001 song "Whenever, Wherever", with lyrics about a breakup; therefore, Shakira, Tim Mitchell and Gloria Estefan are credited as co-writers. The song reached number one in Norway and the top 10 in Sweden.
"Selfish" is a song by American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake. Released on January 25, 2024, it is his first solo single release in almost six years, following his standalone July 2018 single "SoulMate". It is the lead single from his sixth studio album Everything I Thought It Was. It was followed shortly after by a promotional single, "Drown", in late February.
"I Don't Wanna Wait" is a song by French DJ David Guetta and American band OneRepublic, released on 5 April 2024 through What a DJ and Warner Music UK. Guetta and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder built the song around the melody of "Dragostea Din Tei" by the Moldovan Eurodance group O-Zone, along with Michael Pollack, Aldae, Brent Kutzle, Jakke Erixson, Josh Varnadore, Tyler Spry and Timofey Reznikov, while Guetta, Kutzle, Spry, Erixson and Renizkov produced it. It is included on the deluxe edition of OneRepublic's sixth studio album Artificial Paradise.
"Tsaritsa" is a song by Russian singer Anna Asti that was released on 14 July 2023 by Fenix Music. A music video for the song was released week later, on 22 July 2023.
"Mwaki" is a song by Brazilian DJ and producer Zerb from his third extended play (EP), Surrender (2023). It features Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau who performs the song in Kikuyu, a language spoken by the Bantu ethnic group native to Central Kenya. "Mwaki" was released as a single on 10 November 2023 through the independent record label, Th3rd Brain. A month later, it went viral on the video-sharing service TikTok.
