Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, known professionally as Kygo, is a Norwegian DJ and music producer. He garnered international attention with his December 2013 remix of the track "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran and his December 2014 single "Firestone". In late 2015, he reached one billion streams on Spotify faster than any other artist, and by June 2016, he had reached two billion streams.
Spellemannprisen is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. First awarded in 1973, the prize honours musicians from the previous year; it is still awarded annually, usually in January or February. The Spellemann committee, composed of members of IFPI Norway and FONO, manages the award and acts as the judge. 21 categories are currently awarded, in addition to other honorary and industry awards the committee may give. In 2020 and 2021, the award show was held digitally due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Astrid Smeplass, known professionally as Astrid S, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. In 2013, she placed fifth in the Norwegian version of Pop Idol, entitled Idol – Jakten på en superstjerne. In 2020, she released her debut studio album, Leave It Beautiful, through Universal.

Alan Olav Walker is a Norwegian DJ and record producer. His songs "Faded", "Sing Me to Sleep", "Alone", "All Falls Down" and "Darkside" have each been multi-platinum-certified and reached number 1 on the VG-lista chart in Norway. Walker's music style is reminiscent of slightly slower-paced progressive house, 1990s trance music, or dubstep with a smoother rhythmic edge.
Dagny Norvoll Sandvik, known mononymously as Dagny, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her music is pop-based, incorporating elements of indie, dance, synth-pop, electropop and disco. She has released two studio albums, Strangers / Lovers (2020) and Elle (2024), and one EP, Ultraviolet (2016). Her single "Somebody" won Song of the Year at P3 Gull 2020 and her 2017 track "Love You Like That" was the basis for Katy Perry's "Never Really Over" (2019). She frequently performs at festivals in Norway and the United Kingdom including Øyafestivalen, Stavernfestivalen, and Bergenfest.
The Bendiksen Award, or Bendiksenprisen in Norwegian, is a music award granted by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and awarded by the Norwegian Artists' Association, GramArt. The award was established in 2009. The Award is meant to contribute to the development of talent in Norwegian pop music industry, and "be a contribution to an artist that already has established a career, that either has one commercial release or conduct concert performances of a certain scale". The winner receives 100,000 Norwegian kroner.
Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, known professionally as Sigrid, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. Ruben Markussen, known mononymously as Ruben, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. He grew up in Bjarkøy, a small village of 300 inhabitants in Harstad, northern Norway. His debut single "Walls" charted in Norway on the basis of huge streaming online charting on VG-lista, the official Norwegian Singles Chart, making it to number 8. As a result, he moved to Oslo to further his career. He was nominated for the Norwegian P3 Gold 2018 award in 2018 "Newcomer" category for the song during Spellemannprisen, receiving a scholarship. His follow up "Lay by Me" has charted in Norway, reaching number 8. Both singles also charted in Sweden. He is signed to Universal Records in Norway.
Stig Joar Haugen, known professionally as Unge Ferrari and Stig Brenner, is a Norwegian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Haugen debuted in 2015 with the EP Til mine venner. It featured the breakthrough singles "Lianer" and "Hvis du vil" with Tomine Harket, and was nominated for Spellemannprisen in the "Urban" category as well as for P3 Gull 2015 in the Newcomer of the Year category.
Synne Vorkinn, known professionally as Synne Vo, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter.
Marja Helena Fjellheim Mortensson is a South Sámi singer from Engerdal in Innlandet county, Norway. She won the 2018 Spellemannprisen in the folk/traditional music category for her album Mojhtestasse – Cultural Heirlooms, and in 2021 for Raajroe – The Reindeer Caravan.
