Alan Olav Walker is a Norwegian DJ and record producer. Raised in Bergen, Norway, he began making music using feedback from his fans online around 2012, subsequently posting several videos on YouTube and SoundCloud. Starting out as a bedroom producer, he was better known as DJ Walkzz before signing a record deal and releasing his debut single "Fade" on NoCopyrightSounds at the age of 17. He later signed with MER Musikk and released "Faded", a rework of "Fade". The song topped multiple music charts and reached number one in over 10 countries. Their debut album, Different World, was released in December 2018 and reached number one on the charts in Norway and Finland, as well as the top 20 in Sweden and Switzerland. Their second album, World of Walker, was released in November 2021.

Julie Bergan is a Norwegian singer and songwriter born in Skien, Norway. Bergan started releasing covers on YouTube at the age of 16, eventually signing a record deal with Warner Music Norway in 2013. In 2015 she attained mainstream success in Denmark and Germany with her single "All Hours", before breaking through in her native Norway in 2016 with "Arigato" peaking at number one. Bergan's major-label debut album Turn On the Light was released in 2018. She returned to the number one spot in 2018 on VG-lista after collaborating with K-391, Alan Walker and Seungri on "Ignite".

Two remixes were released, one by Austrian DJ and producer LUM!X and one by Afrojack in collaboration with Chasner. However, neither were officially published by Walker's YouTube channel.

"Different World" is a song by Norwegian DJs and producers Alan Walker, K-391 and Colombian-American singer Sofia Carson featuring Chinese producer Corsak. It was included on Walker's debut studio album of the same name, Different World, which was released on 14 December 2018. The song is a re-worked version of a track originally known as "Sevje" by K-391.

Incorporating uncredited vocals provided by Norwegian recording artist Torine, it was released through MER Musikk, and exclusively licensed to Liquid State, a division of Sony Music, on 30 August 2019. It is a revamp of Mangoo's song "Eurodancer", which was released in 2000.

"Alone, Pt. II" is a song by British-Norwegian record producer and DJ Alan Walker and American singer Ava Max, released by Sony Music on 27 December 2019. It is a sequel to Walker's single "Alone" (2016). Many remixes of the song were published, among which those by Rave Republic, Toby Romeo, RetroVision, Da Tweekaz, and one by Alex Skrindo, in collaboration with Sebastian Wibe. Much like the original, "Alone, Pt. II" also garnered critical acclaim. The song reached the top 10 in Belgium, The Czech Republic, Norway, Poland, and Romania. A sequel to the song titled "Better Off " was released on 28 September, 2023.
