The Swiss Music Awards (SMA) is Switzerland's largest award ceremony for music, and serves to promote the national music scene and showcase its cultural diversity. The event allows newcomers to introduce their music to a broader public, while also honouring the accomplishments of the country's most successful musicians. The show is broadcast live. [1]

The Street Parade is a techno music festival in Zurich, Switzerland. With around one million attendees, it is the world's most attended technoparade. The Street Parade takes place annually on the second Saturday in August. Officially a demonstration for freedom, love and tolerance, the parade proceeds along the northern edge of Lake Zurich.
Sven Epiney is a Swiss TV presenter, radio host and editor, who works for Swiss national television and radio SRF. He speaks German, French, English and Italian. Since 2008 he has been the Swiss German commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest. He was the presenter of Miss Switzerland 2010. He was also a member of the jury for the third season of The Greatest Swiss Talents, a show he had previously been the presenter on. In addition, since 2012, he has hosted the morning show quiz "Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund" on Radio SRF 1.
Anton "Toni" Brunner is a Swiss farmer and politician who presided over the Swiss People's Party (SVP/UDC) from 2008 to 2016. He was a member of the National Council from 1995 to 2018.
Ulrich "Ueli" Maurer is a Swiss politician who served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council from 2009 to 2022. A member of the Swiss People's Party (SVP/UDC), he was President of the Swiss Confederation in 2013 and 2019. Formerly head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sports (2009–2015), Maurer has headed the Federal Department of Finance from 2016 to 2022. From 2019 to 2022, he was the longest-serving sitting member of the Federal Council.
Marco Bliggensdorfer, professionally known as Bligg, is a Swiss rapper. His albums 0816 and Bart Aber Herzlich reached the spot on the Swiss charts; four of his other albums have peaked the Top 20. In 1999 and 2000, he was part of the duo Bligg'n'Lexx with rapper and producer Lexx, releasing one album together.

Luca Hänni is a Swiss singer and television personality. He rose to fame in 2012 after winning the ninth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German version of the Idol franchise. He was the first non-German to do so and also the youngest ever winner of the show. Hänni's debut single, "Don't Think About Me", topped the singles charts in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. It was followed by the release of his debut album, My Name Is Luca (2012), which debuted atop the Austrian and Swiss Albums Charts and became a gold-seller in both countries. His second studio album, Living the Dream, released in 2013, became his second consecutive number-one album in Switzerland.
Regula Rytz is a Swiss historian and politician who served on the National Council (Switzerland) for the Green Party from 2011 to 2022. She concurrently served as co-president of the Green Party of Switzerland from 2012 to 2016 and as president from 2016 to 2020.
Albert Rösti is a Swiss businessman, lobbyist and politician who has been a Member of the Swiss Federal Council since 1 January 2023. He previously presided over the Swiss People's Party (SVP/UDC) from 2016 to 2020 and served as a member of the National Council for the canton of Bern from 2011 until 2022. Rösti resides in Uetendorf near Thun.
The Swiss Schweiz am Sonntag was a German-language weekly newspaper, published on Sundays with the main circulation areas being the Swiss Plateau and southeastern Switzerland.
Fabian Molina is a Swiss politician who currently serves on the National Council (Switzerland) for the Social Democratic Party since 2018. He succeeded Tim Guldimann and became the youngest member of the National Council (Switzerland) ever to be elected aged 28. He previously served as President of the Young Socialists between 2014 and 2016 as well as on the Cantonal Council of Zürich from 2017 to 2018. Since 2019, he is co-president of Swissaid.
Marco Chiesa is a Swiss politician who presided over the Swiss People's Party (SVP/UDC) from 2020 to 2024. He served as a member of the Grand Council of Ticino from 2007 to 2015 and National Council from 2015 to 2019. Chiesa has been a member of the Council of States since 2019.
Beat Jans is a Swiss environmental scientist and politician who serves as a member of the Federal Council, after being elected in 2023 to succeed Alain Berset, assuming office on 1 January 2024. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he previously served on the National Council from 2010 to 2020, and president of the Executive Council of Basel-Stadt from 2021 to 2023.
Flavia Alessandra Wasserfallen is a Swiss politician who serves on the Council of States (Switzerland) the Social Democratic Party since 2023. She previously served on the National Council (Switzerland) from 2018 to 2023 and the Grand Council of Bern between 2002 and 2012. She is likely not related to Christian Wasserfallen of The Liberals.
Jacqueline Badran also referred to as Jackie Badran is a Swiss businesswoman and politician. She currently serves as a member of the National Council (Switzerland) for the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland since 2011. She is primarily known for being one of the survivors from Crossair Flight 3597 and her campaigns for additional affordable housing and banning Airbnb. She also holds Australian citizenship.
Judith Stamm was a Swiss jurist and politician of the Christian Democratic People's Party (CVP). She was seen as an influential women's rights activist.
Dadvan Ismat Yousuf Yousuf is an Iraqi cryptocurrency investor and businessman whose early bitcoin investments made him the youngest self-made billionaire in Switzerland. Yousuf and his companies have been the subject of a number of investigations into financial impropriety.
Benjamin Giezendanner is a Swiss businessman and politician who currently serves as a member of the National Council (Switzerland) for the Swiss People's Party (SVP) since 2019. He previously served on the Grand Council of Aargau being elected as the youngest member only aged 18 in 2001. In the 2023 Swiss federal election he was a candidate for Council of States (Switzerland), but lost election against Marianne Binder-Keller. Giezendanner is the youngest son of former National Councillor Ulrich Giezendanner and brother of incumbent Grand Councillor Stefan Giezendanner.
Valentin Landmann is a Swiss criminal defense lawyer, author, media personality and former politician. A public figure, he is known for his work defending people in the Swiss 'criminal underworld'. He has represented politicians, sex workers, accused spies, members of the Hells Angels and neo-Nazi activists.
Sydney Joy Schertenleib is a Swiss footballer who plays as a midfielder for Primera Federación club Barcelona B and the Switzerland national team. Schertenleib previously played Grasshoppers.
