What Jake [McDorman (Brian)] does, he's really funny, and brings a sense of fun to it…I think a big thing is the casting of Jake. Obviously we loved the movie, but Bradley's character, Eddie Morra, is kind of self-serving: he takes the drug, he writes this book, he becomes a stock broker, makes money, [sleeps with] women, and in a TV show, you're not going to root for that guy. Kadin was born on August 7, 1972, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Before being President of the production company, K/O Paper Products, she was an executive producer at ABC. [7] Kadin had previously worked with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci together at ABC, where as a drama executive, was involved in J. J. Abrams' spy series Alias , on which Kurtzman and Orci were writer-producers since the first episode. [7] For a brief time, before joining ABC, she had worked at the television division of Shady Acres Entertainment, which at that time, was based at Touchstone Television. [8] She had left Warner Bros. Television where she served as vice president of drama development in 2010. [7] Kadin worked with Kurtzman and Orci on the WBTV-produced Fringe , which Kurtzman and Orci co-created with Abrams. [7]
Kadin served as executive producer of Sleepy Hollow (2013-2017), [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] Matador (2014), [14] Scorpion (2014-2018), [15] [16] and Limitless (2015-2016). She executive produced the TV movie Exit Strategy where she worked with David Guggenheim, Kurtzman, Orci, and director Antoine Fuqua in 2015. Kadin executive produced the TV movie Tales from the Darkside where she worked with Joe Hill and director Bradley Buecker in 2015.
Kadin worked as co-executive producer on Star Trek: Discovery (2017-2024) with Kurtzman for CBS. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [17] She also served as an Executive Producer on the short-lived CBS series Clarice in 2021.

A stardate is a fictional system of time measurement developed for the television and film series Star Trek. In the series, use of this date system is commonly heard at the beginning of a voice-over log entry, such as "Captain's log, stardate 41153.7. Our destination is planet Deneb IV …". While the original method was inspired by the Modified Julian date system currently used by astronomers, writers and producers have selected numbers using different methods over the years, some more arbitrary than others. This makes it impossible to convert all stardates into equivalent calendar dates, especially since stardates were originally intended to avoid specifying exactly when Star Trek takes place.
Star Trek is a 2009 American science fiction action film directed by J. J. Abrams and written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. It is the 11th film in the Star Trek franchise, and is also a reboot that features the main characters of the original Star Trek television series portrayed by a new cast, as the first in the rebooted film series. Alexander Hilary Kurtzman is an American filmmaker. He is best known for his work on the Star Trek franchise since 2009, co-writing the scripts to Transformers (2007), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) with his writing and producing partner Roberto Orci, and directing and co-writing The Mummy (2017). He made his directorial debut with People Like Us (2012), co-written by him, Orci, and Jody Lambert from a story by him.
Roberto Gaston Orcí is a Mexican-American film and television screenwriter and producer. He began his longtime collaboration with Alex Kurtzman while at school in California. Together they have been employed on television series such as Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. In 2008, together with J. J. Abrams, they created Fringe. In 2013, they created Sleepy Hollow alongside Phillip Iscove. Orci and Kurtzman's first film project was Michael Bay's The Island, and due to that partnership they went on to write the scripts for the first two films of the Transformers film series. Orci first became a film producer with 2008's Eagle Eye and again with 2009's The Proposal.

Sleepy Hollow is an American supernatural drama television series that aired on Fox from September 16, 2013, to March 31, 2017. The series is loosely based on the 1820 short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", by Washington Irving, with added concepts from "Rip Van Winkle", also by Irving. The first three seasons are set in a fictionalized version of Sleepy Hollow, New York, which portrays the town as much larger than it actually is. For the fourth and final season, the setting moved to Washington, D.C.
