Heather Longstaffe is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, currently based in Los Angeles, California. [1]

In 2011 she won the Radio Star National Songwriting Competition [2] and signed with EMI Music Publishing. [3] Heather Longstaffe performed at the Canadian Country Music Association Songwriters' Series in 2012 [4] and 2014. [5]

After years writing songs for artists such as Jordan McIntosh, [6] and Madeline Merlo. [7] 2015 saw Longstaffe release music under her own name with TTA Music, [8] and "Slingshot" was subsequently nominated for a Manitoba Country Music Association Award. [9] After performing with Dallas Smith [10] and touring with Emerson Drive, [11] her songs "Jack Daniels" and "Rooftops" broke through on Canadian radio [12] and SiriusXM, [13] repeatedly winning listener opinion polls. [14]

Longstaffe has been a volunteer with Musicians On Call, bringing live music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. [15]

Curtis Jonnie, better known by his stage name Shingoose, was an Ojibwe singer and songwriter from Canada. He played in Roy Buchanan's band during the early part of his career. He also recorded with Bruce Cockburn in his first album, Native Country. Shingoose was inducted into the Manitoba Music Hall of Fame in 2012.

Free Soul is the debut studio album by Canadian country music artist Madeline Merlo. It was released on April 29, 2016 via Open Road Recordings. The album includes the singles "Sinking Like a Stone", "Alive", "Honey Jack", "Whatcha Wanna Do About It", "War Paint", and "Over and Over". Upon release, the album debuted at number 88 on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart. The album's fourth single, "Whatcha Wanna Do About It" earned Merlo her first top ten single on the Canadian country singles chart.

"Champagne Night" is a song recorded by American country music trio Lady A. It was released on April 13, 2020, following the group's appearance on an episode of the television series Songland. "Champagne Night" is a re-worked version of the song "I'll Drink to That" by Madeline Merlo, with additional writing from the group members and its producer, Shane McAnally. This is the final single released under the name Lady Antebellum, before the band changed to Lady A, in June 2020. "Champagne Night" was included on the digital only deluxe edition re-issue of the trio's eighth studio album, Ocean.
