Jordan James McIntosh (born December 20, 1995 [1] ) is a Canadian country singer-songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. [2] [3] He has released a number of singles.

Career

He was born to Greg and Julie McIntosh in Ottawa, Ontario. [2] He has an older sister Melissa. [2] He is presently based in Carleton Place. [2]

McIntosh's first single, "Walk Away", was released in August 2012, followed by "Let Me Love You", "Grew Up in a Country Song", "That Girl" and "Story of My Life" which featured George Canyon. He also was featured on Canyon's Christmas song "Home for Christmas", which also included Aaron Pritchett and One More Girl.

McIntosh won Ottawa Idol (formerly called Kiwanis Idol) in 2011. McIntosh won the 2014 Country Music Association of Ontario award for Rising Star. [4] He was a finalist in the Emerging Artist Showcase presented by Sirius XM Canada at the Boots and Hearts Music Festival. [5]

The fourth season of Canadian Idol began in February 2006 ran until September 2006. Zack Werner, Jake Gold, Sass Jordan, and Farley Flex returned to judge, and Ben Mulroney returned to host, with Elena Juatco as the new roving reporter. The season premiered on May 29, five days after the finale of American Idol Season 5. The Canadian Idol title was awarded to competitor Eva Avila on September 17, 2006.

The fifth season of Canadian Idol is the fifth installation of the Idol series in Canada. It was again hosted by Ben Mulroney, with Farley Flex, Jake Gold, Sass Jordan and Zack Werner all returning as judges. The show premiered on June 5, 2007, with a 90-minute episode. Voting began during the fourth week. New events introduced that season included the Help Idols build a house and the Kraft Confidential with David Kerr. Lunch At Allen's is a band consisting of four Canadian artists of folk, country, and popular music, Cindy Church, Marc Jordan, Murray McLauchlan and Ian Thomas.
