Heiata Brinkfield (born 4 April 1988) is a French Polynesian athlete specialising in Middle-distance running and the steeplechase who has represented French Polynesia at the Pacific Games and the Polynesian Championships in Athletics.

At the 2005 Polynesian Championships in Athletics she won silver in the 800 meters and 1,500 meters. At the 2007 South Pacific Games in Apia she won silver in the steeplechase and silver in the 1,500 meters. At the 2011 Pacific Games in Nouméa she won gold in the steeplechase. At the 2015 Pacific Games in Port Moresby she won bronze in the steeplechase. [2]

Lalonde won the bronze medal as a competitor for New Brunswick at the 2013 Jeux de la Francophonie in Nice, France. She also won the gold medal for New Brunswick at the 2013 Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec in the 2,000 m steeplechase. Lalonde holds the Canadian record in the 3,000 m steeplechase.

Colleen Quigley is an American middle-distance runner, steeplechase specialist and an Olympian from St. Louis, Missouri. She is the current World Record holder in the 4x1500 meters relay. Competing in the 3000 meters steeplechase, she finished 8th at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and 12th at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing. She was the 2019 US National Indoor Champion in the one-mile event running 4:29.47 to capture the title and was the 2015 NCAA Champion in the 3000 meters steeplechase. In 2023, Quigley announced that she would start competing in triathlon events, but that she still plans to race track and field through 2024.

Galina Kovalenskaya is a Russian Masters track and field athlete. She is the former W75 World Record holder in the shot put. Her record of 8.93 m was retired as the farthest outdoor mark with the 3 kg implement; the age division now throws a 2 kg implement. Her distance was surpassed by former Olympian Rosemary Chrimes indoors with 9.21, but World Masters Athletics do not accept indoor marks as equal to outdoor marks. At the 2010 World Indoor Masters Championships in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, she also set the W75 World Indoor Record in the weight throw.

In 2021, she became the first American woman to run under nine-minutes in a women’s 3000-meters steeplechase event with a time of 8:57.77; establishing an American and Area record. She is a two-time Olympian making the US team in 2016 and 2020. In both of her Olympic Trials she finished second to US National Champion, Emma Coburn.
