Heidi Arnesen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor.

Biography

Arnesen received a silver medal in the relay event at the 1991 World Orienteering Championships in Mariánské Lázně, together with Hanne Sandstad, Ragnhild Bratberg and Ragnhild Bente Andersen. [1]

National championships

Arnesen became Norwegian champion (relay event) in 1985 with her club OL Trollelg. She was Norwegian junior champion in night orienteering in 1986. [2]

Ragnhild Bratberg is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and a cross-country skier. In orienteering, she won the overall Orienteering World Cup in 1988, and represented Norway several times in the World Orienteering Championships relays, winning medals in 1985, 1987 and 1991. In ski orienteering she won four individual gold medals at the World Ski Orienteering Championships, and once in the relay. She was awarded Egebergs Ærespris in 1988.

Hanne Sandstad is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World Champion.

Brit Volden is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. Her achievements include two individual silver medals, and one gold and one silver medal in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships. She also won the unofficial World Cup in 1983 and placed second overall in 1984 and 1988.

Ragnhild Bente Andersen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World champion. She won a gold medal in relay at the 1987 World Orienteering Championships, together with Bratberg, Olsvik and Volden. She received a silver medal in relay in 1991, together with Sandstad, Arnesen and Bratberg.

Ann-Marie Wallsten is a Swedish orienteering competitor and European champion. She won a silver medal in the individual event and a gold medal in the relay event at the 1964 European Orienteering Championships in Le Brassus, Switzerland.

Ellen Sofie Olsvik is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, world champion in the relay event, and winner of the first overall Orienteering World Cup. She is also world champion in ski-orienteering.

Helle Johansen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. She received a silver medal in the relay event at the 1985 World Orienteering Championships in Bendigo, together with Ragnhild Bratberg, Hilde Tellesbø and Ellen-Sofie Olsvik.

Per Kristiansen is a former Norwegian orienteering competitor who competed in the 1950s and 1960s, and later served as an official for the sport at a national level. He became National Champion both individually and in relay, and was twice the individual medal winner at the Scandinavian Championships. He participated at the two first European Orienteering Championships, with a silver medal in relay as his best result.
