The 400 metres hurdles is a track and field hurdling event. The event has been on the Olympic athletics programme since 1900 for men and since 1984 for women.

He competed at the 1971 European Championships without reaching the final. [1] He became Swiss champion in 1970 and 1971. [2] His personal best time was 50.47 seconds, achieved in July 1973 in Munich. [3]
