The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Koninklijke Atletiek Associatie Gent, often simply known as Gent or by their nickname De Buffalo's, is a Belgian professional sports club, based in the city of Ghent, East Flanders. Heli Maarit Kruger is a Finnish former track and field athlete. She was born in Kauhajoki and represented Kauhajoen Karhu throughout her career. She lives in Vaasa. Her main athletic events were the triple jump and the long jump. She won the silver medal at the 2002 European Championships in Athletics in triple jump, with a wind assisted result of 14.83 metres. She held the Finnish record in triple jump, clearing 14.39 metres, from 2003 to 2021. She was married to discus thrower Frantz Kruger.

Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Patrick Clifford Matzdorf is an American former high jumper, who set a world record of 2.29 meters at a World All-Star Track Meet in Berkeley, California. Matzdorf, a Junior at the University of Wisconsin, entered the July 3, 1971 meet against the Soviet Union with a personal best of 7'-3" achieved earlier that year in March. He broke the world record that day on his third attempt at 2.29 meters.
Sylvi Riitta Saimo was a Finnish sprint canoeist. She was the first female Finnish Olympic Champion at the Summer Olympics, winning a gold medal in K-1 500 m at the 1952 Summer Olympics. She also competed in cross-country skiing, athletics and orienteering. She was a member of the Finnish Parliament from 1966 to 1978.

The men's high jump field event at the 1972 Olympic Games took place on September 9 and 10 at the Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany. Forty athletes from 26 nations competed. Reggie Crist is an American former alpine skier who competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics. After 10 years as a member of the US Ski Team, Crist helped pioneer the sport of Ski Cross which is now an Olympic Sport. Crist became the first Ski Cross athlete to win X Games twice, marking his 5th consecutive podium finish. Crist has also been a regularly featured skier in Warren Miller ski films. Crist currently works as heli-ski guides in Haines, Alaska.
Skiing in India is an activity that mostly takes place in the northern states of India, where the Himalayas are situated. Skiing is administered by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation in India. The Himalayas provide an excellent skiing experience owing to their great height which makes for long descents. Heliskiing is also gaining popularity in places like Manali and Gulmarg. However skiing in India suffers from lack of infrastructure. There are also security concerns in Gulmarg which is 20 km (12 mi) from the Line of Control, however since 2002, it has been peaceful, which has led to an increase in skiing activity in the region. Some of the most popular skiing locations in India are Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir, Solang in Himachal Pradesh and Auli in Uttarakhand. The skiing season in India is from January to March.
Sports Reference, LLC is an American company which operates several sports-related websites, including Sports-Reference.com, Baseball Reference for baseball, Basketball Reference for basketball, Hockey Reference for ice hockey, Pro Football Reference for American football, and FBref for association football (soccer). Peter Heli is an Estonian skier and floorball player. He competed in the Nordic combined event at the 1992 Winter Olympics. Heli placed 11th in floorball at the 1996 World Championships.
Kurt J. Matzdorf, also known as Kurtheinz J. Matzdorf, was a German-born American jewelry designer, metalsmith and an educator. He was Professor Emeritus at State University of New York at New Paltz and he founded the metals department. Matzdorf was known for his religious objects in metal.
