Justin Randall Timberlake, occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer. Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

The title track from Madonna's fourth studio album, Like a Prayer (1989), was her seventh single to top the Hot 100 chart, making her the female artist with the most number-one singles in the 1980s.
Hard Candy is the eleventh studio album by American singer and songwriter Madonna. It was released on April 19, 2008, by Warner Bros. Records. The album was her final studio album with the record company, marking the end of a 25-year recording history. Madonna started working on the album in early 2007, and collaborated with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, The Neptunes and Nate "Danja" Hills. The album has an overall R&B vibe, while remaining a pop, dance-pop and hip hop record at its core. The Pet Shop Boys were also asked to collaborate with Madonna on the album by Warner Bros., but the record company later changed their mind and withdrew their invitation.

It was released as the lead single from the album on March 17, 2008, by Warner Bros. Records. According to Madonna, the song is about saving the environment and "having a good time while we are doing it". She also cited the song as the inspiration for the documentary I Am Because We Are (2008).
Manimal Vinyl is a Los Angeles-based record label founded in 2006 by musician and fashion editor Paul Beahan. The label was started out of Beahan's living room in late 2006 in the historical Hancock Park neighborhood in central Hollywood. They released debut albums from Bat for Lashes, Warpaint and many other exclusive releases from avant-garde pop artists ranging from Yoko Ono, Moby, Duran Duran, Carla Bruni, Ariel Pink, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Devendra Banhart, Asia Argento and more. Manimal has also hosted all-star tribute albums to Madonna, The Cure, David Bowie and Duran Duran with all the tributees involvement. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 Manimal hosted three medium scale music festivals in Joshua Tree, California at the world-famous Pappy & Harriet's venue. Line-ups mostly included the labels artists, alumni and friends. In 2012 Manimal created a distribution, marketing and publicity branch and has non-exclusively partnered on campaigns with The Orchard, Warner Bros. Records, ATP and more. The label still operates with a large back catalog but has now expanded into film distribution and live events at its headquarters in Calabasas.

The Bootleg Series Vol. 8: Tell Tale Signs: Rare and Unreleased 1989–2006 is a compilation album by singer-songwriter Bob Dylan released on Legacy Records in 2008. The sixth installment of the ongoing Bob Dylan Bootleg Series, it was originally released as a double-disc set, a limited edition triple vinyl album, as well as a three-disc expanded version. This latter edition of Tell Tale Signs includes a detailed 56 page book annotating the recordings by Larry Sloman, a book of photos The Collected Single Sleeves of Bob Dylan drawing on Dylan releases from around the world, plus a 7-inch vinyl single comprising two tracks from the set: "Dreamin' of You" and "Ring Them Bells".

Gravitonas is a Swedish electronic rock band formed in 2009 and signed to Sofo Records (Sweden) and Universal Music (worldwide) in 2010. The band is fronted by vocalist Andreas Öhrn and formerly by record producer and songwriter Alexander Bard. Other collaborators in the project include keyboardist and producer Henrik Wikström and guitar player Ben Smith. Gravitonas are among the front figures of the Scandinavian electronica scene, often linked to artists like Robyn, The Knife, Lykke Li, Röyksopp, The Sound of Arrows, and Miike Snow, with whom they have also performed on several occasions.

Hell: The Sequel is the debut extended play by Bad Meets Evil, an American hip hop duo composed of Royce da 5'9" and Eminem. It was released on June 13, 2011, in some countries, by Shady Records and Interscope Records and it was released on June 14, 2011, in the United States. The EP incorporates various styles such as hardcore hip hop, Midwest hip hop, and horrorcore. In May 2011, the album's title and artwork was revealed. The EP features the executive producers Eminem and Mr. Porter, with production handled by Bangladesh, Sid Roams, Havoc, DJ Khalil, The Smeezingtons and Supa Dups, among others.
National Treasures – The Complete Singles is a compilation album by the Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers, released on 31 October 2011. It is the band's third compilation album, after Forever Delayed: Manic Street Preachers, The Greatest Hits (2002), and the B-sides/rarities collection Lipstick Traces (2003). The compilation features one new recording, a cover of The The's "This Is the Day", which was issued as a single on 18 September 2011. The compilation reached number 10 on the UK Album Chart in November 2011.
October Sky is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Canada. Formed in 2000, the group currently consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Karl Raymond and drummer Alex Racine. The style of their early music, including their debut album Hell Isn't My Home, has been described as progressive, but they started to add several electronic elements to their sound on subsequent albums. The Aphotic Season was the first step in that new direction but their latest EP Rise marked a major shift in their sound.

Progress Live is the twelfth album released by British pop band Take That. It is also the band's second live album to date and was released as a double disc album in Europe on 21 November 2011 and in the UK on 28 November 2011. The album was recorded during their Progress Live tour at Wembley Stadium in London and Etihad Stadium in Manchester in June and July 2011.

Dzeko & Torres were a Canadian production and DJ duo based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Teenagers Julian Dzeko and Luis Torres began their rise to fame around 2008. The duo has since released a number of singles in conjunction with labels such as Mixmash Records, Monstercat, and Musical Freedom Records. They released the EP Hey on Dim Mak Records in 2012, and have had airplay on radio stations including Tiësto’s Club Life, Paul Oakenfold’s Planet Perfecto, David Guetta's radio show Radio DJ Mix, and Steve Aoki's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix 2012.

It was exclusively made available for consumption in Japan, but was re-released in the United States in 2016 with the privilege of the Record Store Day. The EP includes four tracks—"Like a Virgin" from the singer's 1984 album of the same name, and "Holiday", "Lucky Star" and "Borderline" from her eponymous debut record.
