Hotter Than Hell is the second studio album by American hard rock band Kiss, released on October 22, 1974, by Casablanca Records. It was certified gold on June 23, 1977, having shipped 500,000 copies. The album was re-released in 1997 in a remastered version. It peaked on the Billboard 200 charts at No. 100, without the benefit of a hit single. Many of the album's songs are live staples for the band, including "Parasite", "Hotter Than Hell", "Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll" and "Watchin' You".

"Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll" became a live favorite for Kiss.

It is the second studio release by the current band line-up, with Tommy Thayer on lead guitar and Eric Singer on drums, alongside founding members Stanley and Gene Simmons.

It is the opening track on the album and was released as the third and final single on April 1, 1990. However, it only charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Mainstream Rock Tracks. The band only performed the song during the Hot in the Shade Tour. It is the final single by the band on which Eric Carr plays drums. He was diagnosed with terminal heart cancer following the supporting tour.
Hey Ocean! is a Canadian indie alternative rock and synthpop band formed in 2004 in Vancouver. David Beckingham and Ashleigh Ball had been friends since grade 6, joining with David Vertesi in the 2000s to form the band. The band consists of Ashleigh Ball (vocals/flute), David Beckingham (vocals/guitar), and David Vertesi (vocals/bass). Their music draws from many genres, including pop and acoustic, and the group tours Canada widely. They have performed locally alongside other Vancouver acts such as Shad K, Mother Mother and Said the Whale.
The Monster World Tour was a concert tour by the American hard rock group Kiss in support of their 20th studio album, Monster. Fresh off the heels of the recent success of The Tour with Mötley Crüe and the second annual KISS Kruise, the tour officially began on November 7, 2012, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Kiss played shows in Australia for the first time since 2008, and Europe, including a few festivals in June. They played their longest Canadian tour to date in July through early August with a few US concerts following after, including a show taped to air during halftime of ArenaBowl XXVI in Orlando, Florida. They played in Japan for the first time since 2006 in October 2013.
