Hellish Outcast is a death / thrash metal band from Bergen, Norway, founded in 2001. [1]
Hellish Outcast was formed in 2001 in Bergen, Norway, originally as a trio by guitarist Martin Legreid, bassist Mads Mowinckel (Breed) and drummer Mads Lilletvedt (Solstorm, ex Byfrost).
They quickly gained a reputation as one of the most extreme in the underground scene in their city[ citation needed ]. The band was first introduced as one of the rising stars of the underground, when they appeared on a CD from Terrorizer Magazine in March 2008. Hellish Outcast debuted with the independent release of the EP Raping - Killing - Murder also in 2008.
In 2010, singer Torbjørn Schei (Thebon, ex-Keep of Kalessin) joined the ranks of Hellish Outcast, who offered the band a sharper sound and a new more aggressive approach to their musical style.
In 2011, the band participated in the European festivals Devilstone Open Air in Anykščiai, Lithuania on July 15, and Bloodstock Open Air in Walton-on-Trent, England on August 14.
In 2012, Hellish Outcast released their first album, Your God Will Bleed, on April 1, 2012 by themselves. The album was promoted with their first two music videos: "Your God Will Bleed" and "Face Forced Down". [2]
The second album called Stay of Execution, was released under Listenable Records on January 20, 2015 and was recorded in Grieghallen Studios in Bergen and Russell 'Parlour Studios in the UK (Napalm Death, Evile, Dimmu Borgir). The album has a better production, with a sound more elaborate and progressive style. The album was preceded by the music video of the song "Torment". [3]
Louis Cachet, better known as Varg Vikernes, is a Norwegian musician and author best known for his early black metal albums and later crimes. His first five records, released under the name Burzum from 1992 to 1996, made him one of the most influential figures in the early Norwegian black metal scene. He was convicted of murder and arson in 1994 and sentenced to 21 years in prison, being released after serving 15 years.
Øystein Aarseth, better known by his stage name Euronymous, was a Norwegian musician and a founder of and central figure in the early Norwegian black metal scene. He was a co-founder and guitarist of the Norwegian black metal band Mayhem and was the only constant member from the band's formation in 1984 until his death in 1993. He was also founder and owner of the extreme metal record label Deathlike Silence Productions and record shop Helvete.
Gorgoroth is a Norwegian black metal band based in Bergen. It was formed in 1992 by guitarist Infernus, who is the sole original member remaining, and has released nine studio albums. Gorgoroth are a Satanic band and have drawn controversy due to some of their concerts, which have featured impaled sheep heads and mock crucifixions. The band is named after the dead plateau of darkness in the land of Mordor from J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings.
Nicholas Howard Barker is an English extreme metal drummer best known for his work in Cradle of Filth from 1993 to 1999, Dimmu Borgir from 1999 to 2004, Brujeria from 2003 to 2005 and from 2016 to 2022, and Shining from 2022 to 2023. Currently he is the drummer for Borstal, Liquid Graveyard, Twilight of the Gods, and United Forces.
Keep of Kalessin is a Norwegian extreme metal band from Trondheim, formed in 1993. The group's early lineup consisted of Ghash on vocals, Obsidian C. on guitars and keyboards, Warach on bass, and Vyl on drums. They released two albums under this lineup: Through Times of War in 1997, and Agnen: A Journey Through the Dark in 1999, before splitting up. Obsidian C. then toured with Satyricon, but revived the Keep of Kalessin name for a 2003 EP, Reclaim. In 2006, he reconstituted the group with a new lineup and released a third full-length, Armada. They toured with Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir early in 2008. Their fourth album Kolossus was released on 6 June 2008. They take their name from Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea series of books, where Kalessin is the name of the arch-dragon who is the bearer of the Earthsea world. Keep of Kalessin was nominated for a Spellemannprisen in the metal category in 2008.

Tom Cato Visnes, better known as King ov Hell or simply King, is a Norwegian musician. He is best known as the former bassist of black metal band Gorgoroth, and as a member of Audrey Horne, Sahg, I, Ov Hell, God Seed, Abbath, Jotunspor and Temple of the Black Moon.

Solus Deus was a death metal supergroup project from Orange County, California, United States. All of its musicians have been in other bands, such as Bleed the Sky, Living Sacrifice, Chimaira, Time Spent Burning, The Elite, and Once to Die. The band's name means "Only God", which vocalist Jey Collins says is personal to him. Other band members have their own personal beliefs. However, Solus Deus does not claim to be a religious band. In 2016, the band signed to EMP Underground, and Imprint of Dave Ellefson's (ex-Megadeth) label, EMP Label Group, who have a distributing deal through eOne.
Memento Mori is the fifth studio album by the Norwegian heavy metal band Sahg, released on September 23, 2016 under Indie Recordings. The album features two new band members: drummer Mads Lilletvedt and guitarist Ole Walaunet.
