Listenable Records is an independent metal label officially founded in 1997 in France. [2] The label specializes in metal, with a focus on extreme metal music.

Releasing 7inches by soon to be legendary bands like Immortal, My Dying Bride, in its early days, Listenable has issued essential albums from many acclaimed metal bands such as Gojira, [3] Aborted, Textures, Crisix, Loudblast, Disbelief and Immolation. The label also extended its catalog to more classic rock bands like Electric Mary, Wolf Jaw, Imperial Jade, Jared James Nichols, or My Dynamite. venturing into doom metal and stoner rock territory with bands from Blood Of the Sun, Mos Generator or Mars Red Sky and more.

Aspiring to be at the forefront of developing new talent from diverse musical backgrounds with dedication and enthusiasm, Listenable Records has become one of the most respected international metal and hard rock label.[ citation needed ]

In recent years, the label has extended its catalog licensing albums from Warner, Universal and Sony  : Manowar, Obituary, Napalm Death, Suffocation, Strapping Young Lad among others solidifying its importance as a key player doing reliable business in the music scene.

<i>The Way of All Flesh</i> (album) 2008 studio album by Gojira

The Way of All Flesh is the fourth studio album by French heavy metal band Gojira. The album was released on 13 October 2008 in Europe via Listenable Records and on 14 October in the US through Prosthetic Records. It sold around 4,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at number 138 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also reached no. 1 on the Top Heatseekers chart and no. 21 on the Top Independent Albums chart. The album was recorded at the band's home studio while Joe Duplantier produced it. The drums were recorded in Los Angeles and engineered by Logan Mader, who also mixed and mastered the album. The cover features artwork created by vocalist Joe Duplantier, who was responsible for the artwork on past albums.

The Eyes of a Traitor were an English metalcore band from Harpenden, Hertfordshire, formed in the summer of 2006. The band consists of vocalist Jack Delany, drummer Sam Brennan, guitarists Tim George and Matthew Pugh, and bassist Tom Hollings. There have been numerous line-up changes within the band, mainly due to members wishing to pursue education. Magma is the sixth studio album by French heavy metal band Gojira. The album was released on 17 June 2016 through Roadrunner Records. Magma was recorded at the band's studio in New York City, and was produced by Joe Duplantier, mixed by Johann Meyer and mastered by Ted Jensen. The album has been noted as a stylistic departure from the band's previous albums, featuring a more accessible atmospheric sound and more prominent use of clean vocals. Magma was dedicated to the Duplantier brothers' mother, Patricia, who died during the recording of the album in 2015.

<i>Fortitude</i> (album) 2021 studio album by Gojira

Fortitude is the seventh studio album by French heavy metal band Gojira. The album was released on 30 April 2021 through Roadrunner Records. Recorded at the band's studio in New York City, it was produced by lead vocalist Joe Duplantier, mixed by Andy Wallace and mastered by Ted Jensen.
