Gustavo Adrián Cerati was an Argentine musician, singer-songwriter and record producer, who gained international recognition for being the leader, vocalist, composer and guitarist of the rock band Soda Stereo. He is widely considered by critics, specialized press, and musicians as one of the most important and influential artists of Latin rock. Billboard magazine ranked Cerati as the 33rd best rock singer of all time.
Café Tacuba, stylized as Café Tacvba, is a band from Naucalpan de Juárez, State of Mexico. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s. They were founded in 1989, before they had the current lineup of Rubén Isaac Albarrán Ortega, Emmanuel del Real Díaz, José Alfredo "Joselo" Rangel Arroyo, and Enrique "Quique" Rangel Arroyo:, their friend Roberto Silva played the keyboards for a short period of time. Since the Cuatro Caminos World Tour, Luis "El Children" Ledezma has played the drums in every concert but is not considered an official member of the band, as well as Ramiro Del Real Díaz, who joined the band as a support musician playing the guitar since 2015.
Molotov is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City in 1995. Their lyrics, which are rapped and sung by all members of the group, feature a mixture of Spanish and English. The band members also switch instruments and roles depending on what song they are performing. Most of the group's songs are best known for their content of political satire and social criticism towards the Mexican government and society, which lead them to be a subject of censorship at the beginning of their career. Molotov are one of the best-selling Latin bands of all-time, having sold more than four million copies of their albums worldwide. Although some media outlets describe them as one of the most irreverent in their genre, they are still considered one of the best in contemporary rock en español.

No Te Va Gustar, also known by their initials NTVG, is an Uruguayan rock band formed in 1994 in Malvín, Montevideo. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Emiliano Brancciari, bassist Guzmán Silveira, drummer Diego Bartaburu, trumpeter Martín Gil, trombonist Denis Ramos, tenor saxophonist Mauricio Ortiz, guitarist Pablo Coniberti, and keyboardist Francisco Nasser. The group was founded by Brancciari, Mateo Moreno, and Pablo Abdala as a group of friends that played at a small festival. It is considered as the most popular and international Uruguayan rock band and one of the most recognized Latin American groups.

The song was written by Koko Stambuk and co-written by Kudai. Produced by Carlos Lara, it features racy lyrics backed with breathy vocals and uptempo beats. Lyrically, it deals with global warming and its future consequences.
Los Horóscopos de Durango were a regional Mexican band. In their first years, they were a grupero band, but they eventually changed to the duranguense style when the genre was becoming mainstream. They eventually switched to banda. In their last years, their live performances were a mixture of the latter two styles.

It was the third time the annual event had taken place at this location. The eligibility period for recordings to be nominated was July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. Nominations were announced on September 8, 2010. On September 14, 2010, it was announced that the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year honoree would be Plácido Domingo. The big winners of the night were Camila, Juan Luis Guerra and Gustavo Cerati with three awards.

MTV Unplugged: Música de fondo is the second live album recorded by Mexican alternative rock band Zoé. It was released on March 22, 2011, and it debuted at number one on the Mexican albums chart. The album features a selection of their greatest hits from their previous records as well as a new song, "Labios Rotos". Música de fondo was awarded the Latin Grammy award for "Best Alternative Music Album" on November 10, 2011.

Apart from being a musician, he graduated from sociology and most recently received a master's degree in Philosophy which are contributive factors in all of his songs. Hadjis believes that "the subconscious plays a very important role in all artists' creation process". Dorian is a Spanish band from Barcelona which was formed in 2004. Its sound is a mixture of styles such as new wave, electronic music and indie rock. Dorian is considered one of the most nationally renowned artists in the Spanish music scene. They regularly go on tour in Latin America and European countries like France and Portugal. As of now they have recorded 6 albums: 4 studio albums with original songs, an unplugged album named ‘’Diez años y un día’’ and a CD which was recorded during their concert at Arenal Sound Festival, in 2015.
