Vantaa is a city and municipality in Finland. It is part of the inner core of the Finnish Capital Region along with Helsinki, Espoo, and Kauniainen. With a population of 238,033, Vantaa is the fourth most populated city in Finland after Helsinki, Espoo and Tampere. Its administrative center is the Tikkurila district. Vantaa is bordered by Helsinki, the Finnish capital, to the south; Espoo to the southwest; Nurmijärvi to the northwest; Kerava and Tuusula to the north; and Sipoo to the east. The city encompasses 240.35 square kilometres (92.80 sq mi), of which 1.97 km2 (0.76 sq mi) is water.

Pähkinärinne is a suburb in Western Vantaa, in Finland. It lies roughly between a pond named Lammaslampi and Vihdintie, former Helsinki-Pori main road. It lies near the border between Vantaa and both Helsinki and Espoo.There are basic services, for example, a comprehensive school for students from 1st to 6th forms, in Pähkinärinne. Pähkinärinne neighbours Hämeenvaara, Hämeenkylä, Linnainen, Rajatorppa and Varisto.
Meilahti is a neighbourhood of Helsinki between Mannerheimintie and a bay named Seurasaarenselkä. Most of the houses in Meilahti were built in the 1930s and 1940s. Meilahti is home to over 6700 people. Meilahti is the location of Mäntyniemi, official residence of the President of Finland, as well as Kesäranta, the official residence of Prime Minister of Finland. Near Mäntyniemi is the former presidential residence, Tamminiemi, which is today a museum dedicated to president Urho Kekkonen.
