Världens bästa lotta was released on March 22, 2006 and is an album from the Swedish dansband and pop singer Lotta Engberg. It is a double CD collection of some of her hits throughout the years. Some of the songs on the record are performed by her as a solo artist, others together with the bands Lotta & Anders Engbergs Orkester and Lotta Engbergs. The album peaked at number 17 on the Swedish Albums Chart.

Lasse Stefanz

Lasse Stefanz, earlier Lasse Stefans, is a country music-inspired dansband, formed in 1967 in Kristianstad, Sweden. The band was popular during the 1980s. The band was formed by Hans Sigfridsson, Lars Sigfridsson and Olle Jönsson. Later members are Christer Ericsson, Anders Pettersson and Gunnar Nilsson. Olle Jönsson is the singer, as well as the ex-drummer. Lasse Stefanz had hits with songs as "Oh, Julie" (1982) and released albums as Peppelinos Bar (1988). 1989-1990, Lasse Stefanz and Christina Lindberg had a Svensktoppen hit with the song "De sista ljuva åren". In 1989, Lasse Stefanz was awarded a Grammis for "Dansband of the year".

It was recorded with lyrics in Swedish by Kikki Danielsson on her 1986 album Papaya Coconut, and is one of her most famous recordings. The lyrics are about travelling from the Earth's colder places to its hotter places. The song was a Svensktoppen #1 hit, being at the chart for 12 weeks from January 11-March 29, 1987.

Larz-Kristerz

Larz-Kristerz is a Swedish dansband founded in Älvdalen, Sweden in 2001, and winner of the 2008 edition of Dansbandskampen. Hem till dig stopped U2's No Line On the Horizon from reaching number 1, the only country where the album did not reach this position.

Movits!

Movits! is a Swedish music group from Luleå. The group plays swing mixed with hip hop. Their debut album Äppelknyckarjazz, literally translated as Apple swiper jazz or scrumping jazz, was released in November 2008 and has been recognized by national Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. In the United States the album Äppelknyckarjazz is released by Comedy Central Records.

Scotts (band)

Scotts is a modern dansband from Lidköping, Sweden. Established in 1992, Scotts competed at Dansbandskampen 2008, finishing up second behind Larz-Kristerz, starting to aim at their ambition becoming a full-time band. The band also competed at Melodifestivalen 2009, with the song "Jag tror på oss".

"Inget stoppar oss nu", also known as "Inget kan stoppa oss nu" or "I natt, i natt", is a song written by Lasse Holm and Ingela "Pling" Forsman, and originally intended to be performed by Haakon Pedersen at Melodifestivalen 1987. The song never entered the contest, but instead he recorded it for the album Nattens drottning from 1989.

"Carina" is a 2008 song written by Christian Antblad and Mats Ymell and performed by Larz-Kristerz. The song was originally performed through the TV program Dansbandskampen and became a successful early 2009 single.

I Love Europe

I Love Europe is a song written by Torgny Söderberg and Magnus Johansson, with lyrics by Ingela "Pling" Forsman. The song was performed by Christer Sjögren at Melodifestivalen 2008. On 9 February 2008 the song headed directly from the semifinal inside Scandinavium in Gothenburg to the final in the Stockholm Globe Arena on 15 March that year. Once there, the song ended up 9th. Magnus Johansson also appeared as a trumpeter. The song lyrics describes the dream of friendship and peace all across Europe, and compares the nations with one big family.

40 mil från Stureplan is a studio album by Larz-Kristerz. The release party was held inside Älvdalen's sportshall on 4 November 2014, and the album was released on 6 November 2014.

Kramgoa låtar 9 is a 1981 Vikingarna studio album. The album was rereleased to CD in 1988. and 1996. In December 1999, Aftonbladet's Michael Nystås appointed the album the "best dansband album of the 20th century". The album is also one of the titles in the 1999 book Tusen svenska klassiker.

Det måste gå att dansa till is a studio album by Swedish dansband Larz-Kristerz, released on 26 June 2013.

Bengt Hennings is a dansband from Länghem in Sweden, established in 1967, and scoring album chart successes in Sweden by the late 2000s-early 2010s. The band participated at Dansbandskampen 2008. The band made it further from the first programme together with Scotts, before getting knocked out by Larz-Kristerz in the second programme, only to be revoted into the finals. The band's wind section won a Guldklaven Award in 2008 in the year wind musicians of the year. The band has also participated in the documentary film Får jag lov - till den sista dansen?, and in the movie "På väg till Täfteå".
