Henry Waszczuk (born August 26, 1950, in Peterborough, England) is a former all star offensive lineman in the Canadian Football League. The six-time divisional All-Star played from 1975 to 1984 for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Henry Waszczuk came to Canada at the age of two. He attended Eastdale Collegiate in Oshawa, and after a successful high school football career, he participated in the Telegram East-West All-Star Game and was named defensive player of the game. Waszczuk earned a football scholarship at Kent State University (Ohio) where the team won the Mid-America Conference Championship. In his senior year, Henry was selected an All-Conference centre and earned an All-American honourable mention.
Waszczuk's professional football career began in 1975 with the Hamilton Tiger Cats when he was drafted in the first round. During his 10-year career, he was an All-Star at centre seven times and made two Grey Cup appearances (1980, 1984). As a Ticat, Waszczuk was awarded the Tom Pate Memorial Award for his contribution to the team, his community and the league. He also was chosen as the Rothman's Outstanding Lineman on three occasions and was also nominated for the Schenley Awards three times. More recently, Waszczuk was selected to the all-time Hamilton Tiger Cat "Dream Team".
Throughout his 10-year career, Waszczuk taught high school with the Hamilton Board of Education where he served as a Science Department Head.
After his retirement from the CFL in 1985, Waszczuk co-founded Canadian Sportfishing, a multi-media company. Henry co-hosted and was Executive Producer of various TV shows including Extreme Fishing, Sportfishing Adventures and the Canadian Sportfishing TV show, which aired for 14 years (1986–1999). He is now host of two award-winning TV shows, Fins & Skins Classic Adventures and Fishing the Flats TV, which air on major TV networks across North America. In Canada, the shows air on TSN and in the U.S. the shows air on FOX Sports through Sun Sports in Florida, WFNHD and Tuff TV. Waszczuk has produced and hosted over 2,000 TV shows and is entering his 35th season on air. He is also publisher of Fins & Skins Travel Magazine and has co-authored eight sportfishing books.
He was inducted into the Oshawa Hall of Fame in May 1989; pioneered catch and release techniques used by many anglers today; involved in many charities now and during both his professional football and fishing careers; has been acknowledged by his peers and business friends[ who? ] in which he has been given awards for his contribution to each community he has lived in.
Angelo Valentino Mosca was an American professional football player and professional wrestler. He was a defensive lineman in the Canadian Football League (CFL). As a wrestler, Mosca was known by the nicknames King Kong Mosca and the Mighty Hercules. He had a son, Angelo Jr., who also wrestled. Mosca was elected to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1987, the Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame in 2012, and the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.

Peter Stefan Dyakowski is a retired Canadian football offensive lineman, who was most recently a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 2007 to 2016. Dyakowski has also served as Treasurer of the Canadian Football League Players' Association (CFLPA).

In 1930 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada was the site of the very first Commonwealth Games, then known as the British Empire Games. The Games came to Hamilton as a result of the efforts of Melville Marks Robinson, and were Canada's first major international athletic event, and bid unsuccessfully for the Commonwealth Games in 2010, losing out to New Delhi in India. On 7 November 2009, in Guadalajara, Mexico it was announced that Toronto will host the 2015 Pan Am Games after beating out two rival South American cities, Lima, Peru and Bogota, Colombia. The city of Hamilton will be co-hosting the Games with Toronto. Hamilton Mayor Fred Eisenberger said "the Pan Am Games will provide a 'unique opportunity for Hamilton to renew major sport facilities giving Hamiltonians a multi-purpose stadium, a 50-metre swimming pool, and an international-calibre velodrome to enjoy for generations to come.'"
Miles Gorrell is a former all star offensive lineman in the Canadian Football League. The five-time divisional All-Star and two-time Outstanding Lineman finalist sits sixth on the record books for games played (321) from 1978 to 1996 for the Calgary Stampeders, Ottawa Rough Riders, Montreal Concordes, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He won one Grey Cup with Hamilton and played in two more with Winnipeg. He was a 5-time CFL Eastern Division All-Star and a 2-time CFL Outstanding Lineman finalist.

During his retirement announcement in 2014, Hage revealed that he would become the owner of two Tim Hortons franchises in Toronto, Ontario.
Chris Van Zeyl is a Canadian former professional gridiron football offensive tackle who played for 15 years in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Argonauts, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He is a two-time Grey Cup champion with the Argonauts and was named a CFL All-Star three times and CFL East Division All-Star seven times. He was also named the CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2019. He played CIS Football for the McMaster Marauders as a defensive lineman.
