Henry Clarke Wilson (2 February 1869 –16 December 1945) was a New Zealand rugby union player and cricketer.
Usually a fullback,Wilson represented Canterbury,Manawatu,and Hawke's Bay at a provincial level. He and was a member of the New Zealand national side on their 1893 tour of Australia,playing in seven matches,scoring 12 points in all. He did not appear in any full internationals as New Zealand did play its first Test match until 1903. [2] [3]
Wilson played nine first-class matches for Hawke's Bay between 1896 and 1901. He scored 256 runs,at an average of 21.33 and a high score of 35. A right-arm medium-pace bowler,he took 17 wickets at an average of 19.64,with best bowling figures of 4 for 22. [4]
Clarke died in Christchurch on 16 December 1945, [2] [3] and was buried at Ruru Lawn Cemetery. [1]

The 2009 Air New Zealand Cup was the 33rd provincial rugby union competition,the fourth since the competition's reconstruction in 2006,involving the top 14 provincial unions in New Zealand. It was also the last edition of the provincial competition to use the Air New Zealand Cup name,as the competition's sponsorship contract with Air New Zealand ended after that season. The 2010 competition will be held under a new name,the ITM Cup.
The 1963–64 New Zealand tour of Britain,Ireland and France was a rugby union tour undertaken by the New Zealand national rugby union team. The tour took in the five major Northern Hemisphere rugby nations of England,Scotland,Ireland,Wales and France. The tour also took in matches against club opposition and invitational county teams,ending in Europe with an encounter with the Barbarians. The final two games of the tour were played in Canada.
