Here Now (Italian : Fino alla fine) is an upcoming Italian romantic thriller film directed by Gabriele Muccino. It will receive a theatrical release in Italy on 31 October 2024. [1]
Sophie, a 20-year-old American on vacation in Sicily with her sister, meets Giulio and his friends on the last day of her trip. Together, the group experiences the craziest and most terrifying night of their lives.
The film, directed by Muccino and co-written by him with Paolo Costella, was produced by Lotus Production with Rai Cinema, Adler and Ela Film, with a budget amounting to eleven million euros. [2] [3] The film project is the director's first to tackle the thriller film genre, and was shot in both Italian and English language. The film was shot mainly during daylight hours for seven weeks from September 2023, [4] located in the province of Palermo, Sicily, with scenes mainly located in the city Mondello, the Cassaro, the Foro Italico, and the Palermo Botanical Garden.
