Heritage Colleges Australia is a group of five private Christadelphian schools in Australia. They are:
The name "Heritage College" comes from the Bible passage "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward" (Psalm 127:3). The schools' mission and values are based on "the principles of the Bible and the Christadelphian faith". [1]
There are other Christadelphian schools around the world in, for example, Ontario (Canada), [2] and California (USA). [3]
The Christadelphians are a restorationist and nontrinitarian Christian denomination. The name means 'brothers and sisters in Christ', from the Greek words for Christ (Christos) and brothers (adelphoi).
The Christadelphian Sunday School Union (CSSU) is an organisation which provides lessons, books, magazines and other services for Christadelphian Sunday schools and youth groups. The CSSU provides lessons both for the use of teachers, and also for distance education. Materials are divided for ages 3–6, 7–10, 11-14 and 14+.
The Church of God General Conference (CoGGC) is a nontrinitarian, Adventist Christian body also known as the Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. The Church of the Blessed Hope, some of whose congregations also use the name Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith (CGAF), are a separate denomination, although they share the same origins.
The Church of the Blessed Hope is a small first-day Adventist Christian body. The churches have common roots with the Christadelphians and the Church of God General Conference.
