The Herman and Hannah Anderson House in Forsyth, Montana was built in 1908. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. [1]
It is a two-story wood-framed house on a concrete foundation with a cross-gable roof. It has a one-and-a-half-story gabled addition from before 1910. It has shiplap siding, and Queen Anne/Colonial Revival details. [2]
The NRHP nomination asserts it "is significant as an excellent surviving example of a larger early twentieth-century Forsyth residence", somewhat unusual for its location on the southside near the railroad, while other larger homes in Forsyth were in its primary residential area across the tracks. It was in fact located within 100 yards (91 m) of the 16-stall roundhouse of the Northern Pacific Railroad. Herman Anderson, who emigrated from Sweden in 1889, worked for the railroad. [2]
Hillsdale is an active commuter railroad station in the borough of Hillsdale, Bergen County, New Jersey. Servicing trains on New Jersey Transit's Pascack Valley Line, the station is located at the intersection of Broadway and Hillsdale Avenue. The next station to the north toward Spring Valley station is Woodcliff Lake and the next station to the south toward Hoboken Terminal is Westwood. The station contains one track while a single low-level side platform next to the station depot, resulting in no accessibility for handicapped persons under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

The station is located between two grade level crossings on Bellevue Avenue and Lorraine Avenue, and between North Mountain Avenue and Upper Montclair Plaza parallel to the railroad, and is within steps of the Upper Montclair Business District. The station is at mile point 13.7 on the Boonton Line. Closing the grade crossing of Lorraine Avenue is being considered for safety reasons.
The Grenville M. Dodge House is a historic house museum in Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States. This Second Empire mansion, built in 1869, was the home of Grenville M. Dodge (1831-1916), a Union Army general, politician, and a major figure in the development of the railroads across the American West. The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1961 for its association with Dodge; in 2005 it was included as a contributing property in the Willow-Bluff-3rd Street Historic District. It is now owned by the city of Council Bluffs and is open for tours.

The Junction Shop and Hermon Street District is a historic district comprising 28 industrial properties on Jackson, Hermon, and Beacon Streets on the south side of Worcester, Massachusetts. It is a remnant of a once larger 19th and early 20th century manufacturing district just west of the railway junction between the Boston and Maine Railroad and the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad. The Chicago, Milwaukee and Pacific Railroad-Albert City Station, also known as the Albert City Depot, was built by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad in 1899 to serve the farms around Albert City, Iowa. The railroad built the line from Des Moines to Spencer, Iowa, in 1899 to serve local agriculture. Albert City was platted the same year. The depot was built for passenger service as well as freight.
The Howard School in Rosebud County near Forsyth, Montana was built in 1905. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. The listing included the schoolhouse, a well house, two outhouses, and a playground.
The East Clarendon Railroad Station is a historic railroad station at 212 Vermont Route 103 in Clarendon, Vermont. Built in 1916 by the Rutland Railroad and in service for 35 years, it is a well-preserved reminder of the importance of the railroad through the area. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It presently houses a restaurant.

Jacob and Hannah Leverton House, also known as the Dyott Farm, is a historic home located at Linchester, near Preston, in Caroline County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story side-passage-plan brick house with a gable roof constructed in the first quarter of the 19th century. A two-bay, two-story frame wing was built in 1968 to replace the original 1+1⁄2-story wing. It was the home of Jacob and Hannah Leverton, Quakers, who were agents of the Underground Railroad.

The Johnson Railroad Depot was a historic former railroad station on Railroad Street in Johnson, Vermont. Built in 1887, it was an excellent example of Victorian railroad architecture, serving as a gateway for the town's industrial products to markets nationwide. Converted to commercial use after rail service was discontinued on the line, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It has since been demolished; a modern building stands where it used to.

The Thomas Forsyth House is the historic home of an early settler of Toquerville, Utah. One of the Mormon pioneers, Thomas Forsyth built the house circa 1868 and lived there until his death in 1898. He operated mills, dried fruit and stocked the cellar with wine he made himself, while his wife Mary Browett Holmes ran a glove shop. The simple 1½-story fieldstone construction, a hall-and-parlor house extended with a lean-to, is representative of the pioneer period.
