Brooks & Dunn is an American country music duo consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, both of whom are vocalists and songwriters. The duo was founded in 1990 through the suggestion of Tim DuBois. Before the foundation, both members were solo recording artists. Both members charted two solo singles apiece in the 1980s, with Brooks also releasing an album for Capitol Records in 1989 and writing hit singles for other artists.
Joe Logan Diffie was an American country music singer and songwriter. After working as a demo singer in the mid 1980s, he signed with Epic Records' Nashville division in 1990. Between then and 2004, Diffie charted 35 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, five of which peaked at number one: his debut release "Home", "If the Devil Danced ", "Third Rock from the Sun", "Pickup Man" and "Bigger Than the Beatles". In addition to these singles, he had 12 others reach the top 10 and ten more reach the top 40 on the same chart. He also co-wrote singles for Holly Dunn, Tim McGraw, and Jo Dee Messina, and recorded with Mary Chapin Carpenter, George Jones, and Marty Stuart.
Lonestar is an American country music group consisting of Richie McDonald, Michael Britt, Dean Sams, and Keech Rainwater (drums). Before the group's foundation in 1992, both Rainwater and Britt were members of the group Canyon. John Rich was a member of Lonestar until he departed in 1998, and went on to become one-half of the duo Big & Rich. Since his departure, Lonestar has relied alternatingly on session and touring musicians for bass guitar accompaniment. McDonald exited the band in 2007 to record as a solo artist, and was replaced by former McAlyster vocalist Cody Collins before returning in 2011.
Tony Wade Hayes is an American country music artist. Signed to Columbia Records in 1994, he made his debut that year with his gold-certified album Old Enough to Know Better. Its title track, which served as his debut single, reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts, and three more singles from it all reached Top Ten as well.
Craig Morgan Greer is an American country music artist. A veteran of the United States Army as a forward observer, Morgan began his musical career in 2000 on Atlantic Records, releasing his self-titled debut album for that label before the closure of its Nashville division in 2000. In 2002, Morgan signed to the independent Broken Bow Records, on which he released three studio albums: 2003's I Love It, 2005's My Kind of Livin', and 2006's Little Bit of Life. These produced several chart hits, including "That's What I Love About Sunday", which spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard country charts while also holding the No. 1 position on that year's Billboard Year-End chart for the country format. A greatest hits package followed in mid-2008 before Morgan signed to BNA Records and released That's Why later that same year. After exiting BNA, Morgan signed with Black River Entertainment and released This Ole Boy in 2012, followed by A Whole Lot More to Me in 2016.
Rodney Allan Atkins is an American country music singer and songwriter. Signed to Curb Records in 1996, he charted his first single on the Billboard country chart in 1997, but did not release an album until 2003's Honesty, which included the number 4 hit "Honesty ".
It Would Be You is the second studio album by American country music singer Gary Allan. It was released on May 19, 1998, as his last studio album for the Decca Records Nashville label. After that album's release, Decca Records Nashville closed, so Gary Allan signed contracts with MCA Records Nashville. The album produced three singles with the title track, "No Man in His Wrong Heart", and "I'll Take Today". The title track was Allan's second Top 10 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart at number 7.
Honesty is the debut studio album by American country music artist Rodney Atkins. It was released in October 2003 via Curb Records. It was the second album that the singer recorded but the first that he actually released, as a self-titled album from 1997 was never issued.
Megan Mullins is an American country music singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. At age 18, she made her debut on the country music scene with the single "Ain't What It Used to Be," a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Her debut album was originally slated for release in 2006 but was never released.
Mark Wills is the self-titled debut studio album of American country music singer Mark Wills. Released in 1996 on Mercury Nashville Records, the album produced three hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts: "Jacob's Ladder", "High Low and In Between", and "Places I've Never Been", which peaked at #6, #33, and #5, respectively. The album itself reached a peak of #38 on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts. "Look Where She Is Today" was previously cut by Doug Stone on his 1995 album Faith in Me, Faith in You.
When You Lie Next to Me is the debut studio album by American country music artist Kellie Coffey. It was released on May 7, 2002 by BNA Records. "When You Lie Next to Me," "At the End of the Day" and "Whatever It Takes" were all released as singles. The title track was Coffey's highest charting single, reaching No. 8 on the Billboard country charts in 2002. The album is Coffey's only studio album affiliated with a professional record label.
"Country Boy" is a song composed and recorded by American country music artist Alan Jackson. It is the third single from his album Good Time, having been released in September 2008. In January 2009, "Country Boy" became his twenty-fifth Number One hit on the Billboard country singles charts, as well as the third straight Number One from the album.
Honky Tonk Boots is an album released in 2006 by American country music artist Sammy Kershaw. His only release for the Category 5 Records album, it was also his first studio release since 2003's I Want My Money Back. Honky Tonk Boots also reunited him with producers Buddy Cannon and Norro Wilson, who co-produced his first four albums.
"I Got a Feelin'" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer Billy Currington. It was released in January 2004 as the second and final single from his 2003 self-titled debut album. The song peaked at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in mid-2004. It also reached number 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. Currington wrote this song with Casey Beathard and Carson Chamberlain.
"Jacob's Ladder" is a song written by Cal Sweat, Brenda Sweat, and Tony Martin, and recorded by American country music artist Mark Wills. It was released in May 1996 as his debut single, and was served as the first single from his self-titled debut album. It reached a peak of number 6 on both the U.S. Billboard country singles chart and the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart.

Reviews for the record were mixed, with critics giving note to the lyrical content having various country music clichés. Redneck Crazy debuted at numbers two and five on the Top Country Albums and Billboard 200 charts, respectively. It spawned four singles: "Hot Mess", "Hello Goodbye", the title track, and "Whiskey in My Water".
You, Me and the Windshield is the debut album of American country music singer Marcel. It was the only album he released for Mercury Nashville.
