The second season of High School Rapper (Korean : 고등래퍼2) is a 2018 South Korean survival hip hop TV show. It aired on Mnet starting February 23 to April 13,2018. [1] [2] Kim Ha-on won,Bae Yeon-seo came in second and Lee Byung-jae placed third in the final ranking.

On the first episode of the show, 32 high school students handpicked by the show's producers among 8,000 applicants met each other the first time. Students in the same grade had to compete each other with freestyle rap, and the other grades got to vote on the best rapper among that grade. Then, the students voted first place in their respective grades were given the opportunity to take turns and choose their own teammates.

Among eight teammates in each team determined from last competition, only top four, decided by the producers after watching their performance with lyrics about their personal stories, were allowed to advance to the next round. Four teams of producers each were allowed to give maximum 50 points to each student, allowing for maximum 200 points per student.

Students had to choose either a poetry or novel piece of their choice and write a song about it. Each team, consisting of 4 members, were divided into two groups of two, and competed with other groups. For groups that lost, only one of them were allowed to pass and the other one disqualified.

Students competed in two groups, one group where mentors and students performed together, and the other where students performed with the beat produced by their mentors. Students that failed to get in top three were disallowed from advancing to the next round.

The audience of 500 voted on the students once during each performance, and once after every performance was over. On the first round of voting, cast during the performance, one voter could cast his or her vote to however many students, so every student could earn 500 maximum points. On the second round, cast after the performances, one voter could only vote on one member.

Show Me The Money is a South Korean rap competition TV show that airs on Mnet. The show has grown in popularity since the first season aired in 2012 to the eleventh season in 2022, and it is credited for increasing the South Korean public's interest in hip hop.
Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend, also known as Immortal Songs 2, is a South Korean television music competition program presented by Shin Dong-yup. It is a revival of Immortal Songs (2007–2009), and each episode features singers who perform their reinterpreted versions of songs.
Kim Eun-young, known by her stage name Cheetah (치타), is a South Korean rapper. Cheetah rose to fame as the winner on the TV competition Unpretty Rapstar. She debuted in 2010 with the song "Stop " as a part of the duo Blacklist and was signed under C9 Entertainment. In April 2020, she left C9 Entertainment, which she belonged to from her debut, and founded the one-person agency, Ceuda Entertainment.
Produce 101 Season 2 is a 2017 boy group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the second season of the original South Korean version of the franchise. The public "produces" a boy group by choosing 11 members among 101 trainees from 54 entertainment companies through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public also chose the group's concept, debut song and group name. In the season finale on June 16, 2017, which was broadcast live, the show announced the final 11 members who would debut as Wanna One. More than 16 million people cast their votes during the finale, equivalent to around 30% of South Korea's population.

Mix Nine was a South Korean survival reality show broadcast on JTBC. In the show, YG Entertainment founder and producer Yang Hyun-suk traveled to music agencies across Korea to find up-and-coming K-pop stars. Throughout the episodes, contestants were progressively eliminated, culminating in a competition between a team of the final nine boys and one of the final nine girls. The winning team was to debut as idols, but their debut was ultimately cancelled following contract disputes between YG Entertainment and the contestants' respective agencies.

Produce X 101 is a 2019 South Korean boy group survival reality show on Mnet and the fourth and final season of the Produce 101 franchise. The public, referred to as "national producers", "produces" a boy band by choosing 11 members among the 101 trainees from 47 different entertainment companies and independent trainees through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public will also choose the group's concept, debut song, and group name. The show aired from May 3 to July 19, 2019. Contestant Kim Yohan from Oui Entertainment obtained the most votes at the end, becoming the debut group center. The group from this show was named X1, but after extensive voting manipulation was proven, the group was disbanded on January 6, 2020.
Black Dog: Being A Teacher is a 2019–2020 South Korean television series starring Seo Hyun-jin, Ra Mi-ran and Ha Jun. It aired on tvN's Mondays and Tuesdays time slot from December 16, 2019 to February 4, 2020. It is a well-made drama in which viewers sympathized greatly with the realistic situation, conflicts and villains facing fixed-term teachers in the drama.
High School Rapper 3 is the third season of a popular South Korean survival hip-hop TV show, High School Rapper. The new season was announced on December 5, 2018. It aired on Mnet starting from February 22, 2019. The show featured young rappers born between 2000 and 2003.
Jang Ye-eun, better known as Yeeun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and rapper signed to Superbell Company. She is best known as the main rapper of the South Korean girl group CLC. She was a part of longest-running pair of hosts at SBS MTV's The Show, hosting from May 2018 to November 2019, together with Lee Je-no.

The fourth season of High School Rapper, a 2021 South Korean survival hip hop TV show. On October 28, 2020, Mnet revealed a short teaser video for the fourth season of the survival show. It aired on Mnet every Friday at 11PM (KST) starting February 19. It was hosted by Nucksal.
My Teenage Girl was a South Korean reality competition series created by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation. It was intended to form a seven-member girl group with the potential to chart on Billboard. The contestants were put into age groups that specialize in vocals, rapping, and performance. A joint production between MBC and Phunky Studio, the show premiered on November 28, 2021, and was broadcast every Sunday at 9 pm KST for 12 weekly episodes until its finale on February 27, 2022. The finale was broadcast live and announced the seven winners to form Classy.
The eleventh season of the series Show Me the Money premiered on October 21, 2022. It aired every Friday at 23:00 (KST) on Mnet. The season featured four new producer teams in Lil Boi & GroovyRoom, Jay Park & Slom, The Quiett & Leellamarz, and Justhis & R. Tee.
Bang Jae-min, is a South Korean actor and rapper. He debuted as an actor on Top Management (2018). He also participated in the first two seasons of Mnet's rap competition show, High School Rapper.
